Excellent post by @roydianchan demonstrating the dumbbell bench press. I was definitely guilty of doing the bottom one when I started lifting. I used to feel this exercise more in my shoulders than in my chest and didn’t know why 🙈. The top one puts your shoulders in a safer pressing position and allows you to use your chest more effectively.

That’s ALL 🤷🏻♀️ 2017 Races are finally done! ✔️ I couldn’t think of a better way to end the year. Spartan challenged me in a new way! I run, that’s my favorite thing, but some of you may not know how much I strength train, almost everyday I do some sort of strength training. Spartan was a mix of my two favorite things! 🙌🏻😍 Marathons, Halfs, 10ks etc. show me how my training is going! But SPARTAN showed me my weaknesses, what I need to work on. It’s exciting because I now know I need to work on rope climbing and rings! That’s the first thing I said today, “how do I get better!” I definitely want to do a spartan once a year to challenge myself to reach new goals. 😬I did have to plan my Spartan race at the end of the year and after all my important races, because the risk of injury, bruises, scrapes is so high!
5 Foods That Shouldn't Have An Expiration Date:
Honey keeps indefinitely. It may change color and become crystalized, but it will stay safe to eat. If your honey does crystallize, just place the open jar in warm water and stir until the crystals dissolve.
Even if it develops a frighteningly thick layer of dust on the bag or box, the rice inside is just as good as the day you bought it. This is true for white, wild, arborio, jasmine and basmati rice. Brown rice doesn’t have the same good fortune; its higher oil content makes it turn rancid. Just be sure to store in an airtight container to keep out any bugs.
3. White Vinegar
You can buy the bulk size of white vinegar without having to worry about it going to waste. It never will, since it keeps fresh forever. So stock up, that way you always have something to turn to when in need for dressings, marinades or even household cleaning.
4. Real Vanilla Extract
Pure vanilla extract, since it’s made from alcohol, will stay fresh and flavorful for as long as you have it in stock. Imitation vanilla does not have the same life span. With this in mind, you might want to opt for the slightly more expensive vanilla without an expiration date.
Table salt, kosher salt or sea salt, will stay as fresh as the day you bought it and remain so throughout the years.

After a week long Break from working out, I found myself back at my second home, had to take a break to make more gains. Especially when working out consistently 6 days a week for 6 months straight. I appreciate everyone that’s watching my fitness journey, and I hope that it’s motivating everyone to push themselves every single day to be better than the day before. A goal is not achieved by dreaming about it, it’s achieved by working toward it. Reminder that you don't need a lot of time to focus on your fitness! In and out of the gym in only 22 minutes today! I have exams to study for, papers to write and the last thing I wanted to do was go out into the cold and workout, but I did it!
