This is how we do pasta around here, in the realm of ~food for function~ 🍝🍝🍝. This pasta ends up being somewhere around ~500 cals and 33g protein 😱. Wowwers, but more importantly, YUM.

When it's ripe, it smells like bubblegum and taste like bubblegum. It's the largest growing fruit (up to 100lbs) and the most nutritious!
I enjoy eating it raw but some people cook with it replacing it with a meat choice.
Either way you choose to eat it, you can't go wrong 👌

I can't stress enough how important removing toxins from your body is. Drinking and eating crap has the illusion of being fun now, but it's detrimental to your health, both physical and mental.

Imagina se todo mundo ficasse toda segunda feira sem comer nenhum animal e nenhum derivado dele, imagina o impacto que isso causaria as industrias, ocorreria a diminuição da produção de carne, diminuição da emissão de CO2, diminuição do desmatamento, dos gastos de agua e muito mais.
Se você quer ser vegetariano(a) mas tem dificuldade (o que é totalmente compreensível porque vivemos em um país onde a cultura de comer carne é muito presente), experimenta parar de comer carne e derivados toda segunda, ja é um grande começo e uma grande ajuda para o mundo e para os animais.
E você que é vegetariana(o) e tem dificuldades de parar com os derivados ou nao quer, experimenta pelo menos ficar toda segunda sem eles, te prometo que nao vai te fazer uma falta significativa e vai fazer uma grande diferença para o planeta.
E você que nao é vegetariano/vegano e nem pretende ser, tenta ao menos contribuir uma vez na semana, pode parecer um ato pequeno mas te garanto que é um impacto enorme.

Made my first quinoa/Buddha bowl type of meal and it felt super healthy and was delicious!
The bottom of the bowl has chopped kale then on top of that is quinoa, raw carrots, raw peppers, raw cabbage, baked chickpeas, steamed broccoli, raw pumpkin seeds, tahini sauce, and raw hemp seeds. 😄
As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, I find myself feeling gloomier than usual. 🌧 •

🌈Lately I've been feeling uninspired and haven't been able to create as many recipes and write as much as I'd like. However, in my brief period of absence, I have had some time to reflect on my life and my future goals. •

🌻Currently, I am packing for a vacation with my best friend. I am listening to my body and allowing myself to indulge more often. Though I may not be my most motivated self, I have a lot to be thankful for. Within my personal struggles, I have always found love and that's definitely something to be grateful for.
Yesterday I had my worst training session in a really long time. I was distracted and all up in my head and it resulted in some really grindy, messy squats. This morning I was determined to make my training count.
Shaky as hell but pretty stoked on these 42.5kg for 4s.
One crap session doesn't define the rest of your week. .

I've always loved the smell, taste and honestly the full sensory experience of BBQ. In fact, it used to be one of my favorite types of foods growing up. It wasn't until I made the connection to what I was actually eating that I realized there must be a better way.
