💧WATERBOTTLE WORKOUT💧

No equipment but want to change it up a bit? Here are some lower body exercises you can do with a water bottle or a weight to make it a bit more challenging.👌💪 I was super sore absolutely everywhere so I did this circuit a few rounds just to warm my poor muscles up a bit and get rid of some of the stiffness as well as lower body stretches (check out my story for stretch!!👉) If you can't go deep in a squat that's completely fine. Just modify the exercises to make them work for you, and if you need help with modifications just comment or send me a dm and I'm happy to guide you 😊💓
Here are the exercises, i recommend doing 10-15 reps for 3 rounds, controlled movements:
🔺reverse lunge + over head press
🔺burpee + front raises
🔺front squat + stiff legged deadlift
🔺hip thrusts
🔺one leg stiff deadlift
🔺squat + over head press

Its official, 10 more weeks to go!! Still feeling pretty good,  just really tired at night... which doesn't lend well with my job since I work till 8 or later 🙄 But I've gotta get these girls ready to compete in a few months!  I'll just have to tough it out, even if I do feel like falling on my face around 6:30 🤕. On a positive note, split jerks AND handstand pushups were programmed today!  My two faves 🙌. 3x3x3x2x2x1 split jerks, then.....

Always important to keep your lower back contracted so you don't pull any muscles. Woke up feeling awesome after a quality refeed meal. Keep fueling your bod fam 🤗

✅ CORRECT vs PERFECT form✅

I saw @kenziefitness_ posting about how to preform a lunge correctly, and I just wanted to add something to that. (As you can see on my photo, this is not a lunge, but I just wanted to make a point, so it's not important which exercise 😉 )

NOT saying that her video was wrong🙅, but as a personal trainer I think it's important to separate the term "correct form" from "perfect form". I want to show that even though someone doesn't have the mobility to go full depth in an exercise, they can still preform it with correct form.

BOTH versions are correct form. (generally speaking, there are things I could improve on these pics🙈🙌) It is not mainly about hitting that super deep range of motion, especially as a beginner learning the movements, it is about preforming every exercise controlled and learning about what muscle you are targeting to be able to make that mind to muscle connection. It is SO MUCH BETTER to stop the movement before you start compensating with other muscle groups or even worse, putting damaging pressure on for example joints or your back. 
We need to take the pride out of it and focus on what YOU are able to to today. You might not have the mobility or strength to go deep into a squat/lunge without rounding your back or losing balance etc. Solve it by doing the exercise in a shorter range of motion AS WELL AS working on your flexibility regularly. You don't have to stop doing these exercises, try and find away to ajust them into YOUR version of a correct form and work TOWARDS making them perfect with time! 💪

These were ALOT harder than they look - trying to keep a tight core and squeezing glutes + quads, while switching my balance from one hand to the other, but these are also something that 6 months ago I didn't think I'd be able to do due to my injury.
