I've been kind of MIA since vacation, and work has been hectic. But today I'm back at it, and recommitting to counting points and eating healthy. It's my day off so I'm meal prepping for the rest of my shifts this week and stocking the fridge with healthy eats for my hubs. He's feeling like he had a little to much fun on vacation and wants to eat better 💕 This was my breakfast, he had peanut butter toast with a small bowl of mini wheats however he inhaled it before I could take a picture. .
I got to work lunch duty this week. I’m the Mom the tells her kids not to get chocolate milk at school. I was reminded why when I saw 22g of sugar in this one small carton. It’s also fat-free. Pair this with all the crackers, pasta, and packaged stuff I saw, and those kids are headed for a blood sugar roller coaster. At least the white milk was 1%. Not ideal, but way better than basically give my your kids a candy bar at lunch. I challenge you to think of one new thing to put in your kids lunch this week.
