The thermic effect of food is the energy required for digestion, absorption, and disposal of ingested nutrients. Its magnitude depends on the composition of the food consumed. For example, if you consumed 200 calories worth of protein, your body will burn 40-70 calories to digest the protein. #protein#diettips#eatclean#bodybuilding#gymlife#gainz#fitness
Sometimes it’s hard for me to comprehend how or why things happen. Whether it be denial, misunderstandings or something just not going my way whatsoever. Even through the tough times and rough patches of certain life situations I have to sit back and look at the bigger picture. Don’t really know wtf it is right now but being positive about the future has to be a part of it. Hopefully things come around and we’re able to move forward and get the results we all want, don’t let the bad times or rejections or negatives vibes keep you down, move forward and leave the rest in the background.
God bless. Much love as always.
This surely isn't my best, but it surely ain't my worst either. I'm actually really proud of closing 2017 like this. I made a lot of mistakes, but that's how we grow and learn. Let's see how much more I can progress these next 4 weeks and let's kick ass in the new year! 😉
Been in and out of consistent lifting over the past year, mostly due to feeling anxious around those who already "seem" like they know what they are doing in the gym, who have already worked had and who have achieved results by putting in the work.
You shouldn't be comparing yourself to others, and you definitely shouldn't compare yourself to those who are not at the same level. Think about their day 1, month 1, year 1. They probably didn't walk into the scene with the same comfort level that they have today.
Remember, confidence is built on small achievements and experience.
