Los resultados que obtuve en 6 meses 🎉 pondré un poco sobre la ciencia detrás de lo que necesitas para perder grasa (cut, lo primero que hice) y para ganar músculo (bulk).

•CUTTING• ¿cómo perder grasa?
1. Déficit calórico: comiendo diario un 10% menos calorías de las que el cuerpo usa al día para subsistir. Ejemplo: si quemas 1600 cals con todo y ejercicio en el día, tienes que comer aprox 1440.
2. Suficiente proteína para no perder músculo (~30% de calorías totales) 
3. Pesas: aprendí a hacer ejercicios compuestos y ponerles peso con el tiempo, y no solo usar máquinas.
4. Nunca hice cardio/HIIT, si te gusta, inclúyelo.

•BULKING• ¿cómo aumentar masa muscular?
1. Exceso calórico: comer 10% más calorías de las que el cuerpo necesita/quema al existir y al hacer ejercicio.
2. Suficiente proteína ~25%.
3. Seguir en aumento progresivo de peso cargado (en deadlifts, squats, glutebridges...) casi todo lo estudié de los artículos de @bretcontreras1 recomendado x1000 🍑 y otras fuentes.
4. Cero cardio/HIIT, en esta fase no lo recomiendo.

SOBRE CONTAR CALORÍAS:
Al principio de ambas etapas conté calorías con una app, esto lo considero como una gran ayuda y para mi un MUST más que nada para aumentar músculo, para asegurarme de que comía lo necesario. Muchos tienen la idea de que con una mini porción de carbs y evitando comer miel, arroz, pan, estarán en forma, cuando NO es lo cierto para todas las metas. Y pues no digo que seas tu propio nutriólogo y cuentes calorías por siempre, pero así tú arreglas las comidas que funcionan para TI, después de un rato de hacerlo empiezas a adivinar lo que necesitas, sin necesidad de contar o usar la aplicación pues se vuelve costumbre.
Por ejemplo, me tomo postworkouts con 1/2 taza de avena como si nada, cuando antes creía que hacer eso me haría engordar. Hay que aprender a CONFIAR en el proceso, si no no hay #gainz jaja. En los fines de semana tengo comidas libres🍝, aunque en bulk aveces parece que es cheatmeal una comida normal 😂. Cualquier duda me pueden preguntar cositas. 💖

Yesterday, it was a new Caribbean Green Protein Smoothie, and today it is this fabulous Pre-Workout Bowl!

If you’re after balance across your three macro nutrient groups - this one will do it for you! With a great balance of protein, carbs and healthy fats, this is a terrific option for that pre workout meal about 1 hour out from training. I’m having mine right now before I go and crush  my Chest Day - in order to give myself the energy I need to smash out the session.

Ingredients:
✨ @tropeaka Chocolate Pump Protein (1 scoop)
✨ 40g instant oats
✨ 30g frozen blueberries
✨ 10g pure honey
✨ 10g natural peanut butter
✨ Sprinkle of coconut flakes
✨ Dash of unsweetened almond milk
✨ Water

Method:
✅ Pop your oats and berries in a bowl and add water until it is just covered (tip - leave some berries out and add in later for ‘aesthetics’ cause it’s gotta be pretty, right?)
✅ Microwave for one minute, then take out and add the Pump Protein
✅ Mix thoroughly and once combined, add almond milk to desired consistency
✅ Top with peanut butter, honey, coconut flakes and extra berries
✅ Enjoy!

Got in a car accident today, slid down a hill in the snow into another car and smashed the whole front of my Nissan. I'm ok, just was super upset. Instead of staying home and eating my feelings I went to the gym and had a bomb ass workout. Life can throw you some serious curve balls, just gotta know how to catch them.

Cravings can be a goal killer when fat loss is your #1 goal - after dinner treats, mindless movie watching snacks or just plain eating out of boredness. 💤
So how can we fight against this? First off - we don’t. Don’t fight against cravings, control them! 
You want some chocolate after your dinner? Maybe some popcorn with your movie? Or just some good ol Za🍕for dins HAVE IT....but be MINDFUL!💭 Portion control (aka putting 1 or 2 servings in your bowl and leaving it at that) and being AWARE when you eat will help with cravings - you can have your cake and eat it too! 🍰🤗
Moderation/portion control is key and really helps with being able to have your treats without necessarily having ALL DA TREATS🍕🍟🍡🍬🍦🍪🍭 See....you don’t HAVE to restrict to lose weight!

Started today's training on the indoor track for a 4-mile interval🏃🏾. Good run but per the feedback from the Fenix 3, it was too much. Didn't feel bad but I did try to push a bit during the running portion. 
Followed the interval with upper🏋🏾 body training.

I'm not bad off like some that drink it all day long.  I'll have a cup in the morning and that's it.  However,  I just know that I need to get away from it.  So, today is day 2.
