The left pic is 2 weeks ago, 2 weeks into my summer shred the pic on the right is today. I wish I had pics from the start of my shred to really compare but I only have a mid bulk pic!
Having these few weeks to lean out has made me feel so much more comfortable and also excited to keep gaining muscle. I will have 2-3 more weeks of leaning out and then I will take myself into a cautious surplus instead of the intense surplus I was in for my bulk since the May @wbff_aust show.

Deadlifts at 7am? Why not! Deadlifts are a great compound exercise to include in your routine because they target all of the major muscle groups including both lower and upper body so it’s great for building overall strength. I don’t do them enough, but I’m slowly adding them in to my program, once a week. I’m not lifting a great amount, that’s probably why I only took a photo of the bar. I did 60kg today here at my home gym 💀

The endorphins are freaking REAL. AND, speaking of endorphins and happy feelinnnns, did you know that 80-90% of your serotonin is made in the gut?
For a little refresher, serotonin is your "happy chemical." Serotonin plays a MAJOR roll in MOOD, appetite, sleep, digestion and sexual health/drive.
Now, do you suffer from depression? Acne? Anxiety? Insomnia? Low sex-drive? Reflux? Tiredness? IBS? Constipation? Headaches? Mood swings? (I sound like a commercial lol)
Let me re-iterate, 80-90% of this happy chemical that controls ALL of these things is made in the gut aka your stomach and intendes AKA the place where ALL YOUR FOOD GOES, and is digested, and utilized by every single cell in your body.
Now, if you're dealing with any of these things, how's your diet? Is it full of processed foods? Low fiber? Full of artificial sweeteners and dyes? Lacking probiotics and nutrients? Not eating enough?
EVERYTHING starts in the gut. All of the things previously listed are SYMPTOMS to an underlying problem. I encourage all of you to start with DIET changes before taking any medication, reaching out to any doctor, or giving up. Don't you want that serotonin pumping ya up 24-7??? Remember that time I calculated how much money I spend every year at Starbucks and it was almost $1k? Guess who decided to make her green tea at home from now on!
It's actually been perfect, I wake up in the morning and take my dog on a walk. We come back and I start the kettle and breakfast. We lounge on a yoga mat (or go back in bed, let's be real here😂) and I usually read a book while Bogart snores until it's ready to get dresses and go off to work!
Having my green tea at home though has made the experience that much more relaxing and honestly, buying it from Starbucks I always felt very business focused and rushed. I really enjoy lounging in my pjs and going to my own rhythm.
What about you guys?? Anyone Starbucks fanatics? What's your drink there and if you had to, how would you make it at home??

Finally back to (squat) cleaning 115#. Goal is to move 135—I’ve attempted in the past but never successfully completed the lift at that weight. Excited tho cuz 115 felt easy and i honestly haven’t been doing any focused training for this lift, so 135 should come soon. If I’m not already able to do it 😏#earnyourweekend#squatclean
