I’ve heard various times and am guilty of it myself... And this is when I over eat one night and the next day I am punishing myself for “eating too much” with copious amounts of cardio and not eating the next day. Although instead take that extra carbs and fat as use that as more energy for exercises. Change your relationship with food, think of food as the fuel your body needs for every workout. Food should be something we look forward to and indulge in occasionally. If we indulge frequently then ask yourself, why? What is your reasoning for craving these foods? Then remind yourself what it feels like to feel good. To feel healthy. To feel energized. Personally when I eat well, when I have whole foods, when I exercise, I feel better than anything. I am motivated, happy, ready, and am able to conquer as much as I can in one day. If you have more in your system-utilize it, burn that glycogen by lifting heavy, so some sprints (HIIT) and celebrate instead of punishing yourself. “The body and its shape are a poor measure of health and we need to broaden what “health” and “wellness” means and look at the whole person. Do you have energy? Do you sleep well? Can you move in a way that makes you feel good? Do you have relationships that bring you joy? Do you love deeply? There is no body or shame in that.”

Was inspired by @adambelieve to incorporate pull-ups with peg board training. I decided to do it with weight because I was working weighted pulls tonight. Started with 25lbs and didn't make it very far lol 😂 so dropped down to 10lbs and made it a bit farther. How far can you make it with weight on the peg board doing a pull-up after each move?? Cutting (dieting) Tip #3
There are a ton of different conclusions when it comes to meal timing. Some experts say to eat five small meals, some say eat three larger meals, some say not to eat carbs after a certain hour, etc. I say do what works the best for you and your goals at the time! When I'm trying to gain strength, I eat a little more, therefore I spread my meals out through the entire day based solely on the fact that it's easier to eat more food in smaller quantities. If I'm trying to tone up then I eat a little less, therefore I like to eat three larger meals so that I feel FULL throughout the day. I never worry about the time of day. If I'm hungry at 9:00 at night I'm not going to remain hungry just because of what the clock says!

Energy levels are dipping slightly last night and today, but we are just rolling with it! Maybe it has taken this long for caffeine to be out of my bloodstream 😂 Had a great session this morning despite this, now I'm having my last full day at Les Mills today! Throwing a new job into the mix next week will be interesting but I'm just going to embrace it!
