can’t believe i’ve never been to @leclairdegenieca before! this was delicious, the choux pastry was light and not too hard and the cream was good and flavourful. definitely going back to try all the other flavours!

It’s hard for me to say NO when mama or abuela offer me their cooking. Part of being a healthy person overall is staying well rounded . I also want to stay humble and connected to my culture and traditions.
To modify or control portions is the trick. I use small plates. I serve myself about half a cup of the carbs. I try to skip the tortilla (unless it’s tacos or something you just can’t do without). Bake the chilaquiles instead of frying them. I also try to cook veggies on the side to add.
Life is too short. Enjoy mamás cooking. ☺️ Eat the birria at the party. Just account for everything and you’ll be okay. 👍🏽
This week's #throwbackthursday is to my birthday last year when I cooked dinner for 30 people. Now I know that spending the day cooking is not how most people want to celebrate their birthday, but I had a blast. And yes, before you ask, it was of course all #pcosfitfighter friendly (even the desserts)!
