Loving the “gosés” at the minute! This be the toøl lemongrass gose, fresh salty limey but not too zingy and builds a nice foam when savouring! Slightly disappointed I’m not picking up the lemongrass tho, was hoping that’d be a cool twist. Might just be my palette tho! All in all still a great beer, would have another!

Blend consisting of Whiskey Barrel-Aged Double Mashed Imperial Stout – 60%
A slightly bigger, stickier version of the base beer used to create Whiskey Barrel Stout, this component beer was aged for 18 months in first-use whiskey barrels to impart strong notes of vanilla, charred oak and warming whiskey to an imperial stout featuring a complex blend of caramel, roasted and chocolate.
Bourbon Barrel Quad - 40%
Based loosely on the Smokestack Series’ The Sixth Glass, this abbey-style quadrupel is separated into a number of oak bourbon barrels where it ages for varying lengths of time, some for up to three years. Cherries are added to make up for the angel’s share of beer lost during barrel-aging. Selected barrels are then blended for optimum flavor. The resulting beer retains only very subtle cherry characteristics with toffee and vanilla notes coming to the fore. 😯Tequila Barrel Lime Gose:
A traditional German-style sour beer, infused with sea salt, coriander and lime peel, goes on holiday to the home of the blue agave, sunny Mexico. The aroma offers assertive notes of oak, vanilla, caramelized banana, and coconut. A malty sweetness is balanced by tart lime and hints of lively tequila, tapering to a slightly salty finish. ¡Arriba!
New beer alert - Miso Gose - releasing Saturday, because we're just a bit tired of green beers and Irish stouts. St Paddy's, you deserve more.
Did you know the world's largest organic miso producer is located near Asheville? We didn't - but we do now. Intrigued, we dove right into a full batch and cultured 40 pounds of Miso Master's traditional red miso alongside our lactobacillus in our base Gose sour mash.
The result was better than we'd hoped for - some lemongrass leads with a gentle citrusy aroma, followed by a deep, earthy sweetness that's hard to place (unless you know our star ingredient). Lightly tart wheat leads you at first sip, like every Gose, but what follows is a complex, earthy, lightly salty lingering umami sensation.

New Beer on tap today!! Go Time Gose - sour ale brewed with pink Himalayan sea salt and citrus. This beer starts with grainy malt and light citrus aromas. Flavor is slightly tart and dry.
