Old to me but new to ya'll ✨✨ I've had so much fun celebrating my birthday these past few weeks! @carruthcellars was one of the first places my roommate took me to (knowing that I love wine) when I moved to the San Diego area. We actually had a man barista that night who was awesome but this girl right here was the first barista I had when I was first introduced to the place. Okay had a great "discussion" with the ex before working out yesterday. Used to really look for the next half gallon of ice cream to eat and find the choc syrup to drowned it in ...but decided to burn it off at the gym. With strength training. And I really did hit it hard. Felt so proud of myself when I left... and I did feel better.
Fast forwarding to now...pretty sure that im going to die.... my body is really sure that i wayyyyy overdid it and now my thighs hate me... my shoulders may actually be breaking... and I can hardly move my head. Feeling nauseous and can't get into a comfortable position to sleep ... but those ice packs really do work. Yes taking motrin and tylenol alternating but pretty sure I've had enough for the day. Okay due to various things have not been to the gym for 5 days... :(... but have been getting in steps and eating good. I did my weigh in this morning and am down officially 5 pounds in the last few weeks... with lifting and cardio.
I am so excited... I know it's only 5 lbs but with the exercize several people have commented on my physical changes.
Now fitting into cloths that were either too small/tight or unable to button across the bust line.
I had my first child leave for college, my own personal melt down and several other things go really wrong in the last couple of days. Happy to say that my go to stress eating actually did not happen. I did manage to eat probably 1 1/2 lbs of grapes and kill alot of people online gaming. Proud of me... normally a half gallon of ice cream was usually the start... yes I can eat like a pig and I mean A LOT OF FOOD. ice cream, any chocolate, salami/cheese roll ups. chips, pizza by the box full, I could really jam it in until I felt sick.
Did not have those urges for long and went for a slow walk listening to good music twice...and a few 100 tears... and my bff got me thru it without my usual meltdown routine.
Changes happening slowly but surely.
