had a good run today with my sweet husband. ❤️ I’ve gotten to the point where I much prefer HIIT over running...but it’s all about balance. 😉
I’m so thankful to have a partner who I can spend time with in a way that helps us both grow. 💕

Was so happy on Monday. If there was something I was disappointed with at my meet it was my deadlifts. I missed my third attempt which was something I had already hit at the gym. My biggest problem for me is that my hips shoot up, the judge told me which I knew but he told me just work on that and my deadlift would go up. .
I decided to start back at the bottom. I changed my setup, my form is a bit different. Each rep I focus on bracing and pulling my shoulders back. I make sure I come to a dead stop at the bottom so I’m not just going through the motion, even if that means I have to reset myself up... forever hating commercial gym plates that don’t make things better 🤦🏽♀️
Anyways this was 225 3x5. My last set shown here... But the reason I was really happy was because I did these Beltless which I’ve never done without my belt and my hips didn’t flyyy upp and my other 2 sets before this felt EZPZ. Still got work to do... but yay for small victories🙌🏼🙌🏼
