Over and over again, girls ask me for weight loss advice, but tell me they don't want to lift heavy weights or "get big". To all the ladies out there --Do I look big to you!? Trust me, weight loss does not mean hours of endless cardio. I have never been more proud or satisfied with my body than when I got addicted to lifting weights.
I am stronger, leaner, and more flexible than ever before. Weight training with proper form will lead to less pain and more functionality in everyday life. Increased muscle mass also raises your basal metabolic rate-- meaning you burn more calories, even at rest, with more muscle.
Females and friends of females, I encourage you to add weight lifting into your fitness routines.
