Egg whites, ham and mushrooms with a tiny bit of ff mozz cheese, with a side of Ezekiel bread. So simple but so good. 😋 Good nutrition doesn’t have to be boring 🤓

Sempre approfittando dell'assenza di ieri sera della landlady, mi sono bollita tante verdurine da portarmi per pranzo 😍 Diciamo che l'uso della cucina non sarebbe compreso, ma credo che le chiederò la possibilità di bollire almeno le verdure.. Mi scoccia usare sempre scatolette (non sono cibi freschi) e non tutto si può cuocere al microonde. Vabbè, ultimamente sono logorroica 😂

~ Carote, cavolfiore e broccolo bolliti 🌱 e conditi con pepe 🌶 ~ 50 gr di carpaccio di tonno affumicato al naturale, 0 grassi e carboidrati, solo proteine 🐟
Più tardi uno yogurt greco 0% grassi al ribes nero, 125 gr e 85 kcal (è scaduto da qualche giorno, ops! 😅) e il mio amato espresso amaro ☕

Don't box yourself in with food rules, like "its breakfast, therefore I must eat X." 🙅🏻It's unnecessary. It's just food, and only eating. This narrow way of thinking functions only to create additional unnecessary stress, which I'm pretty sure is already elevated for many people this time of year.

It's almost Thanksgiving and this year I am so thankful for so many things - including the opportunity to be with all the Blechman-Soleds (including Maddie! 🐶), the fact that I have enough energy at #33weeks to actually host Thanksgiving in the first place, and the upcoming arrival of this precious little nugget 💕 I am also particularly thankful around this time of year for my healthy relationship with food. The holidays (and associated meals) can cause massive anxiety and stress for so many people with worries about what to eat and fears of overindulgence. When no foods are "off limits" you take back your power over the big, bad meal! So this year, try just EATING for the holiday and let your mind relax. Have meals and snacks leading up to the big meal, and try to make them healthy/balanced if you can. Don't be afraid to try a little bit of everything at dinner but take smaller portions of it all to see what you really enjoy and what you're actually hungry for - seconds are always an option! And allow yourself to eat and ENJOY your favorite dessert that you look forward to all year.
