Since ending a significant relationship last month I've been really focusing on learning to be with myself, rather than overbusying or distracting myself by making tons of plans. It is pretty difficult for me. But it feels like important work. Both so I can learn to enjoy my own company more and to be better suited for the next relationship that comes along.

So today I made myself a healthy  picnic meal and sat in the backyard and enjoyed some food and reading. Yoga tonight. Happy Sunday y'all ♡

This is gonna be EXCITING to see🎉💃🏽🎉 In 4 weeks Kelly will be finishing her 2nd 12 week Total Body Challenge, we are in Phase 3 MOMENTUM, these are her #’s so far: 💃🏽lost 17 pounds of body fat
💃🏽lost 7 inches from waistline 💃🏽gained 1 pound of muscle

💋I am not claiming to have  a special secret magic sleep fat loss spell allows you to not move, eat pizza 🍕 & just sleep the fat away ( god I would be a popular human if I did) but I am saying  if your not getting enough sleep you could be making this fat loss thing a lot more challenging on yourself. Here's some reasons why;

1️⃣ It affects your training intensity, motivation & recovery. 👌🏻You absolutely don't need to do excessive amounts of training in order to see change & make progress but you do need majority of training sessions busted out with a decent level of intensity (unless on a deload) ✌️once you've trained you need to recover to a) allow muscle repair so they can get stronger & sexier b) be able to perform well in your next training session.

2️⃣It is the chief of your appetite hormones - so the hunger signal gets screwed - the I'm full signal get screwed,🔹 it messes with your stress hormone making it discombobulated & being elevated way more than it should be🔹your glucose regulator is sent up the river so you end up with elevated blood sugar which long term affect can have a negative impact on your health ❌both of these will make you  more like to fat gain or It's a regular old hotch potch of body disruption.

3️⃣ The ability to make sound decisions about food vanishes & with the increased urge to eat from the above hormone disruption you will more than likely struggle with the will power not keep dipping into the works biscuit 🍪 jar.

Meal Prep Sunday: Fish, asparagus, and roasted potatoes.

-Bake fish according to directions (we buy pre-seasoned fish from Costco, only 180 calories per fillet)
-coat asparagus in salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil. Bake at 425 for 15 min (can bake this at the same time as fish)
-coat potatoes in olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes -put together and your lunches are ready to go!

For example, let’s say a person who maintains their weight on 2300 calories sets a moderate 500-calorie daily deficit to lose weight. As you can see, they could be on point the entire week but completely offset their hard work with just one and a half days of splurging!

Now… I’m NOT saying you can't or shan’t or shouldn't have fun with friends on the weekend. Just remember that having "too much fun" can potentially undo the hard work you're putting in Monday-Friday.

My Advice? Continue having fun with friends and family (cuz das what life is all about, y’all ), but make sure you’re going in with some type of plan that includes moderation & common sense 💪☺️

Many of my habits stem from my background playing football from when I was young all the way through college. These routines are a huge reason why I am an early riser and also why I don't think twice about working out regardless of how busy life gets. I was recently asked what my life would look like if I hadn't become a health coach. 🤔

To be honest, the thought made me tear up.

Here’s what I came up with:
I’d still be that scared little girl I once was - scared to try new things, scared to meet new people, scared to go to new places. I’d still be the follower, never the leader. I would still be telling myself I wasn’t good enough or pretty enough or smart enough. I’d still be telling myself I’m never going to be the best wife or the best vet. 🙄🙄🙄 And that’s NO WAY to live. 👎🏻 ✨✨I’m thankful for this business because I’m now a happier, more confident, healthier, more successful, more content, more ambitious woman. I’ve made new friends. I’ve traveled to new places. I’ve shown more initiative. And I’ve had the opportunity to CHANGE LIVES by helping other women learn to LOVE themselves and be more comfortable in their own skin through health and fitness. I’ve seen women gain energy and lose weight. I’ve seen women realize they’ve had an addiction to FOOD and helped them learn to have a healthy relationship with what they eat. I’ve seen women gain confidence and happiness. I’ve seen attitudes and bodies changed. ✨✨ And I am SO GRATEFUL to have had this opportunity. So I truly hate to think about where I would’ve been if I had never decided to become a COACH. 💕💕 Does the old me sound like YOU?? Then GIRL you could be the one I’ve been searching for. Just to give you an idea of how versatile essential oils are, we've used this one oil multiple times this past week: •for my husband's head tension, actually the best oil we've tried yet for it! His head was not feeling good this morning (maybe too many 🍻 last night) and I rubbed a drop on his forehead and temples, instant relief 🙌🙌 •on Jaycee's bee sting. She normally doesn't fair too well with bee stings, and each time seems to get worse.. well one drop of this on it and this time was totally different!! She said "we have to remember to use that special oil next time!" 🐝 •a drop on the back of Quincy's neck because she's two and wants to do things her way & gets a little upset if you make her doing anything different 🙄 •in our diffuser at night with Cedarwood because we all need sleep, especially this mama 🙋🏼 #romanchamomile #essentialoilsforthewin

To say I have struggled these past 2 weeks would be a complete understatement. Every since I completed a 10 day water fast, it took 3 days to go back to bad habits. Of Course it made me feel like shit, so of course I continued bad habits to make me feel better, which just made me feel worse.. I stopped picking up my camera to film for my healthy habits series and really lost focus on my goals 😔I had it in my head that I can do all of this "within 3 months" and it's just not like that at all. It's going to take time 🌱 I wasn't going to post "the struggle" but I really need to be honest with myself so I can learn and grow from this ❤️ So I will get back on the health wagon and take it day by day :)

No sabés que hacer para comer a la noche? Preparate esta 🌟PIZZA CON BASE DE CALABAZA Y BATATA🌟 una opción liviana, rica y diferente de la taaaan rica zapi tradicional (y que nunca falte😉😂)
Receta:
- Procesar 1/2 taza de puré de calabaza, 1/2 taza de puré de batata, 1 huevo, 1/4 taza de harina integral o la que usés, cdta de polvo de hornear, semillas a gusto, sal y pimienta.
- Verter la masa en una pizzera engrasada y cocinar en el horno hasta que esté durita.
- Retirar y cubrir con lo que más te guste!💃 en mi caso: salsa de tomate, queso fresco, cebollas caramelizas  y orégano.
- Manda de vuelta al horno hasta que se derrite el queso, retirala, cubri con rúcula, tomates secos, perejil y shuuuvia de semillas (no por algo en mi casa me dicen semillita🐜) y a disfrutar 🤘

T25 Cardio is DONE! ✅ My legs and booty are SORE today!! I wasn’t sure how this would go, so I downed my liquid unicorn juice (aka Energize), and got to work. My muscles warmed up and I am spent! Thankfully this bad boy was only 25 mins because I’m too out of shape for anything longer 😂.

This month has definately challenged me every single day. Pushing myself to workout every single day and show up for myself, but I am so glad that I did. My body feels stronger, especially during this past week. I'm excited to see what the future brings and even more motivated now to keep my health and fitness a priority.
