Sweet beauty ◆ So easy to make.. Sharing my recipe with you:
100 grams raw chocolate, chopped
Place the chopped chocolate in the top of a double boiler set over hot water and allow to melt, stirring often.
Place a parchment paper on your work surface. Pour the melted chocolate onto the paper and using an offset spatula, spread it in a thin layer. Place a second sheet of same-sized parchment paper on top and gently press to release the air bubbles. Starting with one short end, roll the parchment paper tightly into an-inch-wide tube.
Place it seam side down on a rimmed baking tray and chill in the refrigerator until set, for at least 2 hours.
Have a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper ready and remove the tube from the refrigerator. Unroll the tube in one quick motion, which creates the chocolate shards. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper, and with the help of a large offset spatula go underneath the pieces, pick them up and transfer them to the lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate until ready to use.

All or nothing?
How often do you hear people say, when I’m getting in shape, I’m all in or I’m all out? ••
Now hear me out for a moment. From experience I have found that ALL is impossible (at least beyond 12-20 weeks) and NOTHING is not an option. ••
So how do you stop being an ALL or NOTHING kinda person and actually achieve results that you can keep and build on year after year?
You need to change the way that you look at the process! Simple right?! Not so much! ••
Habits are a regularly discussed part of the transformation process; changing our habits is how we create a ‘new normal’. ••
What does that mean and how can it be done?
It means making small changes regularly, NOT ALL AT ONCE! ••
If you don’t exercise, throwing yourself into a 7 day a week exercise program is not going to be sustainable. Take the same commitment and do 2 days a week consistently. Once you’ve nailed that, add a third day, then maybe a forth. Build exercise into your life so that it becomes something you “just do”. That way when you are tired or stressed it’s not the first thing to leave your life. ••
It’s the same with what you put in your mouth. If you’re eating two or three meals a day, start trying to make those better (not perfect). Don’t cut out food groups (unless you discover certain foods don’t make you feel good). Learn to listen to your body. Eat when you’re hungry (learn the difference between real hunger/emotions/hydration). Learn about food and be calorie aware, but you don’t have to count everything. Keep a food diary. Having accurate data will help you create a better understanding of your habits and can be used to identify habits that are not serving you. ••
Will you get super fast results and have a transformation you can share with all your friends in 8 weeks? Probably not, but imagine if you implemented these strategies over a year. Not only will you have a great before and after, but you’ll actually be able to keep it because it will be your new normal! #habits#transformation

Estar “cercada” de padrões, e ser você mesma num mundo onde pessoas não têm tanta autenticidade é complicado, cansa a mente e faz a gente se perguntar se queremos mesmo isso.. E me pego sempre sorrindo ao lembrar do carinho que recebo aqui, e não me faz ter outra vontade a não ser continuar, e ajudar, dar dicas legais, indicar produtos realmente bons, incentivar vocês a serem melhores a cada dia, e se tudo que eu faço ajudar UMA pessoa, já valeu todo esforço. ♥️ .
BUT, semana que vem, se tudo der certo, tô voltando pros meus treinos e pra minha dieta. Porque tá bem complicada a situação aqui. 😬 Quem sabe não lanço um desafio verão? 🤭 HAHA .

For #thanksgiving this year I was in charge of the stuffing so I decided to give this #paleo approved turkey stuffing a try from @simplyrecipes and it was SO GOOD! Extremely thankful for this delicious meal and time spent with loved ones.
What was your favorite side of the night?
You know those nights when you get to the gym, and your body simply says no?
Tonight was one of those nights. I had a late night doing homework, an early morning class, and then work. I didn't really want to go to the gym after my shift, but I pushed myself to anyways. During my warm up I realized how sore I am from yesterday's workout (it was a doozy), and then once I started to workout my body made it clear that tonight wasn't a good night for weights. My muscles were sore and cramping, my shoulders were clicking, my form was slipping, and my energy levels were low.
Could I have pushed through it? Probably.
Did I? Absolutely not.
My body made it clear that it needed more recovery time, so that's exactly what it's going to get.
Quick core workout and a brisk walk on an incline treadmill, and this lady called it quits.
I try to live by "discipline > motivation" but it is important to know the difference between a lack of motivation and a clear sign that your body needs to rest.
Listen to your body! It knows what it needs.
When you get your mojo back it feels pretty dam good. 💪
When you stop looking outside of yourself at all the negativity you will never find the solution. Swallow the hard pill and realise it might be you. Take a deep breath and change your vibe and everything else will fall into place. 💕
Genuinely feeling like I have more to be thankful for than ever before:
I am so so so thankful.
Thankful to be building a relationship with God.
Thankful for my fiancé who truly loves me unconditionally.
Thankful to have more friends than I've probably ever had ever. And not just that but a group of women who push each other to do the scary things, help each other grow, and celebrate one another's successes.
Thankful to have found mentors who have encouraged me to get uncomfortable, think bigger, and honestly helped me to believe I am worthy of my biggest dreams.
Thankful to have a crazy, silly, wild family that loves and fights through the hardest parts of life together.
Thankful for coffee. Because coffee is life.
Thankful to have gone through struggles this year that helped me re-evaluate what truly matters to a life well lived.
Thankful that planning my wedding has been nothing but fun and stress free thus far.
Thankful that other people look to me and trust me as a resource to help them along their fitness journeys.
Thankful to have taken a trip to California this year that changed my life forever.
Thankful to have grown into a person that cares so much less about pleasing others in ways that don't make me personally happy.
Thankful to have learned to set boundaries.
Thankful to be strong and able bodied.
Thankful to have found what lights me up.
