The sky was a vision as the sun rose up to say hello. Hues of parisian, iris and pearl swirled together in the morning air, creating a masterpiece worthy only of Turner, Michaelangilo or Di Vinci.
So perfect a conception of heaven was the scene around me that I felt I was intruding. Out of place in some sacred happening. When the cosmos declared its creativity and splendour for so much more than just my eyes.
Who is the painter? Who owns tools that can craft such glory?
For only the divine could have caused these wondrous heavens of a day like today. Just for me and the orange coat. We are in awe, Dear Autumn.
The Orange Coat Adventurer. . . .
We forget there is so much natural beauty in the world. In the midst of the muck and mire, it is hard to peer out and fully appreciate the world that was created for us to live in. Today I got to fly in a very small plane from San Jose to Quepos in Costa Rica, so the altitude was lower than a commercial jet. We flew right through clouds, and saw the lush plains of the country as close as one can while flying. I took this shot as we were weaving through the Costa Rican heavens. It was all a sight to behold ... | I've started a four week journey around Latin America & Europe. Costa Rica is so far a solid first stop. #costarica #🇨🇷 #manuelantonio#quepos#clouds#heavens#skyporn#skylife#somanyhashtags
Mira al fons dels meus ulls
I dona fe que t'estimo
Res podria corrompre
La veritat translúcida
Que m'uneix a tu
A voltes per un fil
On sóc funambulista
I sempre pel camí
Ample de la natura
On estant amb mi
Et trobo i em retrobo
A group shot of some polished face rough #crystals that got prettied recently... really really really in love with this method of finishing!!! Being able to see and feel the natural edges, curves, and striations that've been etched with time while also having one part be as finished and polished as possible... being able to touch and partake in its refined #beauty , gives one a strong connection to the #heavens , the #earth , and the #crystal itself. So definitive #healing , #manifestation , and #protection can take place! Available in our @allsnotlostdesigns #etsyshop . Thanks for looking!!! Now #letsgetmetaphysical y'all!!!
I' fell in love with the symbol and meaning behind the Tomoe many years ago and finally got myself another one on my body but this time on my palm. Cheers @black_soul_uk_tattoo for doing this on me
This symbol is found everywhere on Buddhist and Shinto temples all over Japan. Its name is tomoe, means turning or circular, referring to the motion of the earth. The tomoe is related to the yin yang symbol, and has a similar meaning, representing the play of forces in the cosmos. The tomoe is made up of interlocked flames also known as magatama resembling tadpoles.
The most common tomoe emblem has three flames which is known as a triple, or ‘mitsu’ tomoe), but one, . A triple tomoe reflects the threefold division of Shinto cosmology, and is said to represent the earth, the heavens, and humankind.
I think it is interesting that different cultures use similar patterns but in different ways and how a pattern can change from cultures and times.
