| interesting stuff | Shei-Pa National Park, 雪霸國家公園, is located in the central part of Taiwan with an extension of 768.5 km2 covering the area of Hsinchu County, Miaoli County and Taichung City. The mountains of Shei-Pa are home to the headwaters of several major rivers in Taiwan, for instance Car the Takejin Creek flows north to join the Danshui River which provides water for Taipei. The Dajia and Da-an rivers flow west and north west to provide water to Taichung county and the Touqian River flows northwest to Hsinchu County. It is also an amazing place for hiking trails. Note that you will need to apply for Park Entry Permit before entering the park for most of the hiking trails. .
