This years botanical Christmas card. Mistletoe is on its way! I have been in the process of collating my first wholesale catalogue for the botanical alphabet range- I totally underestimated the time it would take! And now it’s half term... maybe the kids will help?! 📷 @katiespicerphotography
"Guarda un albero, un fiore, una pianta. Concentrati su di essi. Su come sono calmi, quanto profonde sono le loro radici... lascia che la natura ti insegni la sua calma."⠀

"Look at a tree, a flower, a plant, focus on them, how calm they are, how deep their roots... let nature teach you its calm."⠀

I would wither if I didn’t explore, but I also learn and expand from those around me: we are teachers and students simultaneously.
'Two birds and wallpaper' my 1000th painting. I have painted something a little different to celebrate reaching this significant number! I have been cataloging my paintings for many years now. I was inspired to paint the wallpaper from when we stayed at @wivetonhall west wing. The painting is now listed in our Two Artists shop, the link for this is in my profile. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
We added this gorgeous 'Sacred Hart' deer necklace from the beautiful antler collection by Phoebe Jewellery to our store. Wishing you all a lovely weekend! Stay safe and cosy. It's very blustery out there. Oh, and we're going to announce the winner of our competition with @sevensistersspices on Monday. Thank you all so much for entering 🍂 #lewesmapstore
Gull brooches on an epic piece of driftwood at Cala Deia yesterday. I take my pieces with me in case I spy something excellent to photograph them with. At least the lovely light is back after our very soggy first day.

I honestly can’t even think of words to accurately describe the magic that happened in the desert this eve 🌟... so for now I’ll just leave you with this image and go get some much needed sleep ✌🏼 #elopement#magic#truelove#radstorytellers
So obsessed with bougainvillea right now. Hope the owners of this gorgeous tree won't mind if I snip a couple of branches off next time I walk past! Has anyone had any success growing it from a cutting?

I really can't describe how fulfilling it is to know that I'm making something useful for someone, that I'm using my skills to make an idea come to life. I really began to realize that I enjoyed graphic design when I was working at an aquarium in Utah. Occasionally projects would arise that required some design or artistic ability, and it was so delightful to hear my colleagues describe something and be able to say "I can do that." My skills have come a looong way since then (I didn't even know how to use Adobe Illustrator back then, ha ha!) but I still get the same thrill every time I listen to a client and get the chance to say "I can do that."⠀
To everyone who ever let me work bring an idea to life, thank you.⠀
We have planted some of our autumn 'treasure' and watching patiently to see how and if it will grow. These are acorns and hazelnut from Belvedere gardens. I had never realised a mighty oak tree can live for 1000 years 🌳. Have you grown any trees from seed? I'd love to hear. A happy weekend all 😗#autumncolours
So happy with how my mixed media works on Ilford paper look framed courtesy of Emma Jean Framing in Silverdale. These + other similar works will be on display with other paintings @nextdoorgallery from Oct 30 in my show 'Encounters with beauty'.
I've just come inside after spending a few hours in the garden. And while I was out there it got me thinking ...
Our life is like a garden. And the plants in it are like the people we let into our life, & the things we say yes to & take on in our days.
If we don't regularly care to our garden it becomes overgrown & full of weeds. The beautiful flowers become suffocated & don't bloom. And it's not until we tend to it & prune things back that the little plants we enjoy the most have room to break through & start bringing us joy again.
Am I making sense or have I just had too much sun?! Anyway the moral of this story is to make sure you regularly prune your garden (and life)!
I hope you're having a lovely weekend.
