What does winning mean to me? Winning to me isn't about the ribbons or if I beat the person next me. Winning to me is going out in that sandbox and putting al the hard work, sweat, blood and tears out there for the judge. Winning to me is giving it your all and then some. No matter what I place as long as I know that me and my mare went out there and rode our hearts out..I'm already in first place 💗 all these companies are amazing and winning something like this would be just magical ✨
You may see a horse that's not collected, hands that are too high, and a girl that's not taking it seriously. But what I see is a girl that used to be terrified of trotting, now smiling to her ears with the joy and elation that comes with trusting a horse to show you the way.
• (Rajah is a 23 ottb, ex h/j, ex lesson horse, now therapy horse. He's retired and we only pull him out for special kiddos needing his patience and guidance. No crit please)
This doof had his bands taken out and then he got a haircut. He still needs it thinned, re-branded, and slightly evened up, but he's looking more like a horse. He's also down to 6 pounds of grain a day instead of the 18 he was getting when I got him. He's eating his alfalfa better now and doesn't seem to be losing weight, but time will tell! Just a couple more weeks until his shoes go back on. 🤞
this is the horse that taught me everything I need to know(including how to sky dive without a parachute) she's probably one of the most schooled horses I've ever ridden... Note: She came from P. E, She actually did have a show jumping career after racing, she was originally my dad's horse, we bought her from just looking at a picture of her, they wanted 50k for her but we got her for 15 or lower(forgot how much) she was the first horse I learnt how to canter on, She was the horse I learnt how to jump on, she's had AHS and made it, She's been through hell and back.. she's taken me along way...and she deserves an appreciation post!! oh and I turn out my own horses and for those that plan on competing, here's a tip... No matter what show it is, whether it's big or small, Put the effort in it!! meaning.. If it's a showing show, Be an idiot like me and go fully turned out because I follow rules. #appretiationpost#horsesofinstagram#instahorse#instahorses#dressagehorse#showrider#showhorse#horse#showing#jumper#exracehorse#OTTB#pferd#equestrian#equine#yhpakle123 @super.cally @spice.equestrian.....
Bit of a shit photo but EI assessment was great tonight, came out with lots to think about and learnt a lot! Have a lesson on saturday morning then back for a second assessment on sunday which im really excited for just a few things to work on but hopefully we're given the go ahead! 😄
Pascal's eye is so gorgeous.. but that scrape on her face makes me sad, she did that one night I'm guessing on the gate to her stall. She is very accident prone. But how good does she look in red😍
