Hier nun mein M I T T A G E S S E N für heute
MY STORY: because we all have one, whether it is fitness related or not. Although I have wanted to share my fitness journey for quite some time now, I'm really not sure why I haven't, sooner.
Being real, authentic, straight up and honest...(in short form 😋) I like to think I have had many transformations through out the years and I have so much to share so this isn't all of it but this is how it all started... As a kid I always held on to what momma called it "baby fat" always active a dancer for 14 years I was the "solid girl" I remember being in grade 6 when my "baby fat" started to make me feel insecure and I didn't care how "muscular" my legs were I just wanted to be "skinny"... here is where my first "diet" started... I began watching my portions and having gentle reminders from my mom that the food will always be there...what can I say I love to eat lol. Fast forward grade 7,8,9 I slimmed down and didn't think to much of weight until it crept up on me later in highschool... lunches out with friends, experimenting with drinking, late night pizza binging after a party etc. I believe I joined goodlife when I was 16 and "worked out" here and there but never too consistent or it would be in spurts. When I hit 22 I was 4 years into a toxic relationship that left me with little to no self esteem. I was at my heaviest weight and did not feel good. I knew I needed to save myself and dance/moving my body always made me happy and feel good. I hired a trainer and thought perfect, in 6 weeks he will whip me into shape and TA DAAA!!! HAHA Right... so my first session with him (January 2012) he told me how it was ACTUALLY going to go and I have not looked back since. From there that is where my love for fitness, health and total body wellness evolved. With a ton of hard work, tears, frustration, dedication, support from family and friends and amazing mentors, I have gotten to where I am today. Always striving to be a better me everyday, never "finished" always a work in progress... Photo cred: @dave_laus
Life is full of luck, like getting dealt a good hand, or simply by being in the right place at the right time. Some people get luck handed to them, a second chance, a save. It can happen heroically, or by a simple coincidence, but there are those who don't get luck on a shiny platter, who end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, who don't get saved!
How often do you make mistakes when you are doing something which you have mastered? When was the last time you fell down while walking? If all you ever do are things you have already mastered, you will rarely, if ever, make mistakes. But that's going to be a very boring life to live, won't it? We make the most mistakes when we try something new. The less like anything else we've tried, the more likely we are to make mistakes. So leave the comfort zone and start taking some risks!
Do not spend all your assets. Save as much as you can, because there will come a day when you will need that money. Nothing is 100% sure nowadays, so back-up is a necessity when it comes to money. Save and spend wisely!
