Back day 🐍 ✔️Week in, week out is what it takes to consistently making progress! To break through plateaus you HAVE to improve each time, don't think you'll progress because you did the gym session and hit your targets.. "nice, yeah 15 reps done, what's the next exercise?" You need to push past that target, it's just mental guideline! If you can do more reps then keep going, up the weight next set then do partials at the end and really destroy those muscle fibres! 💪🏼💯
Oh yeah and eating a surplus of calories will obviously help. Got a month left then I'll take a short break from work and training for my long overdue holiday next month! 🙌😁

How true is this? Think back five years ago, think at where you were then, and think how quickly five years have passed. Seems like it was just yesterday, right? Now take a step back and quickly analyze the health of your current life situation, not necessarily how healthy you are but the "overall health" of your quality of life as a whole. Are you completely happy with it? In all honesty, I would be generous in saying 80% of you are not! Are you on a game plan currently to set yourself up for a better life in five years from now? I don't know why so many people have their priorities all wrong, time management completely out of whack and for what? To feed the hand that pulls the strings of all of the puppets out there? I'm sorry, I cut those strings long ago. I'm no puppet, I am no sheep. I am a wolf and a leader, and sadly, from what I see around me, a rare and dying breed! Where is the rest of my wolf pack? We need to stick together to conquer this thing called life. I don't need people with colourful excuses disguised as stories as to why they "can't" do things in life. Ain't nobody got time for that negativity! Where are my soldiers, my warriors, the people who are result oriented? I am calling on you! Come forward! Let's hang out, feed off of each other's energy, and together, crush goals and build empires 💪🏽 Are you with me???? Passion vs. Paycheck

Today I had a great conversation with @Sdoods, @Ricofit23 and Marina (@ProteinCookieCo owner) while visiting the PCC Bakery.

That topic revolved around taking less money upfront to live out your passion or taking more money up front and doing something you didn't love.

Marina and I lived this first hand. I graduated with a degree in Economics and had initial offers of $80k with commission bonuses that would've sent it way over $120k per year. Out of college that seemed like the dream. Marina was from a family of doctors. They expected her to follow suit and to become one too. And that would've led to Marina making a lot of money, but not much happiness.

But Marina and I had a passion outside of those fields. We were our happiest when we were baking/cooking. It was when we were at peace. We could do it 24/7 and not once looking at the clock.

I think it's obvious which route we both took and thank God we did. FDL and @ProteinCookieCo are both thriving 🙌

But it didn't happen overnight. I turned down those offers out of school when I was 22 years old. I just turned 26 last week. I could've been making 6 figures at 22 working on Wall Street stressed as all else. Not able to enjoy most of my days because I was doing something I didn't love. And I would also be spending all the extra money I made to try and combat all this stress (vacations, cars, house, etc.) But those things would be temporary because I would always be going back to the job I hated. Marina can imagine the same.

So what did I do? I swallowed my pride, lived with my parents, figured out through trial and error what my passion was, and then started building it day by day. I saved all my money. I worked hard every single day. I never took my eyes off my vision. I never settled. My life became a "Hell Yes" or it was a "No".

And now fast forward to today, I am making 6 figures doing what I love 24/7. I invested 4 years of swallowing my pride and building my brand to get where I am today to truly start to see if reach its potential. This didn't happen overnight. It probably won't for you either.

I didn't need a coach 
I thought Lean cuisines and salads would help me lose weight and b12 and vit d would give me all the energy. But I still felt like crap and I was still exhausted and I continued to run in circles. Each time that circle got bigger and harder to get around. 
The biggest thing that changed? I made a choice and didn't look back! I stay connected to a tribe to keep pushing me forward. I sacrifice some time but make it better by working out from home, a little extra money, sodas and fast food. I replace those things with a healthy shake instead and then I help others do the same. .

When I first used this machine I think I was doing 100lbs(if even) and last Friday I hit a NEW HIGH on this machine. I pressed a total of 340lbs!(which is a bit over 3x my body weight)

One of the best lower Core moves you can do is this movement, more so than any mountain climber or leg raise as those mostly hit your hip flexors more than your actual lower ABS. Here is how it's done 👇

▪️1 > HIPS HIGH! Depending on your flexibility, get your hips up as high as you can each rep. Get right up on your tip toes at the top, the higher the better!!

▪️2 > DOWN SLOWLY! Come down slow each time and get that core strength working, control every rep by feeling every rep!!

▪️3 > REVERSE CRUNCH! If done correctly you should feel like you are actually crunching your ABS at the bottom, turn your hips inwards as you come down and don't hold your breath, breathe out as you contract the ABS at the bottom!!
