It's funny, how many assumptions can be made from a few words posted on social media. Only you know what the truth is, what is going on, and how hard you are willing to work. Put your blinders on and keep going. Happy Saturday friends! 📸 by @alisohrabphotography
Love this #analogy . ☕️⠀
"You are holding a cup of #coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.⠀
Why did you spill the coffee?⠀
"Well because someone bumped into me, of course!"⠀
You #spilled the coffee because there was _coffee_ in your cup.⠀
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled _tea_.⠀
*Whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out.*⠀
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.⠀
*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"⠀
When life gets tough, what spills over?⠀
#Joy , #gratefulness , #peace and #humility ?⠀
Or #anger , #bitterness , harsh words and reactions?⠀
You #choose !⠀
Today let's work towards filling our cups with #gratitude , #forgiveness , joy, words of #affirmation ; and #kindness , #gentleness and #love for others!
“We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of Infinity. Life is Eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in Eternity.” Deepak Chopra
Day 18: what piece of art are you thankful for?? Well mine is actually 2 types of art: photography and music. Music is something I feel deep in my soul and photographs help me remember great times...like the time I got a high five from Darius Rucker!
Meet Popeye🐞🌱(named by my mom) She/He was found in a packaged bag of spinach that was in the fridge for almost a week!
—While washing the spinach my mom shrieked "There’s a lady bug in here!!!" and instead of washing it down the sink or throwing it in the trash, we decided to see if it was possibly still alive. When Popeye finally dried off from her shower, her little legs started to move. We couldn’t believe it! This little bug had survived being stuck in a plastic bag of spinach for a week. True, she had plenty to eat 🌱lol, but we still found her resilience to be a miracle✨. I gently set her outside to live the rest of her life outside of the spinach bag. —Thank you🙏for honoring the struggles and easy flowing times of your life and the lives of all living things. Sometimes you may be metaphorically "stuck in the spinach bag", but trust that the universe is supplying everything you need to survive this unexpected phase for the larger growth of your being. Give yourself a very loving hug today😘❤️😍#selflove#selfwork#trust#trusttheprocess#trusttheuniverse#divinity#ladybug#spinach#eatyourveggies#compassion#empathy#love#loveothers#loveyourself#loveandlight#cultivatekindness#kindness#kindnessislove#kindnessismagic#onekindthingaday#oktad
❤️❤️ "Parental Advisory": Yelling if at all, rarely solves a situation. A recent study by the National Institutes of Health has shown that yelling has long-term effects, like anxiety, low self-esteem and increased aggression. However on the other hand, having control over our emotions (i.e. a calm but resolute demeanor) is reassuring and makes our children feel loved while being "disciplined" for their bad behavior. Don't get me wrong, yelling can be a powerful tool for special situations, if it's rooted in love and not our frustration. “ @cave313 #frobabies#love#kingsraisekings#emotions#kindness#resolution#parenthood#momlife#dadlofe#TeachTrainTransform#SavingBoys ™@frobabies
