A leader is supposed to teach his disciples his same thoughts, in order to achieve a clean and rich leadership. Making the ones surrounding you achieve their goals is your main mission, as their leader. Teach others to be like you!
Closing weekend thoughts...in a world full of negativity on the news, in the streets and on social media; why not be the presence of positive vibes to brighten someone’s day. You never truly know what is going on in a person’s life. Do you want to be the final “straw that broke the camel’s back” or the “icing that adds flavor to their cake”🤷🏼♀️ Choosing to be the kinder version isn’t always easy...especially when we are suffering through a tumultuous day. But ask yourself this...on the day where you just don’t know if you can go on, but you are putting on a smile that says different; do you want others to break your back or give you some icing to try and sweeten your day? #kindnessmatters#positivevibespositivelife#youreapwhatyousow

Today was a big day for Bee. It was our wards #primarypresentation . They sang beautiful songs and each child took a turn saying their part into the pulpit. Bee introduced #elderrasband and said that he will follow the #prophets and #apostles by being kind. I love that Bee decided kindness was the way he can #followtheprophet .
He did a wonderful job and I am so proud of him. He spoke clearly and wasn't even nervous in front of the crowd.
Mana's flirty eyes. So happy they are off the streets and we still get to visit them. We love to support our former homeless friends with dog food and treats. One less thing for them to worry about because most are on a fixed income.
Before you speak : THINK
T- is it TRUE ?
H- is it HELPFUL ?
I - is it INSPIRING ?
N- is it NECESSARY?
K- is it KIND ?
Growing up, words have left such huge scars , and felt as though they shred my insides apart. I grew up being the quiet girl in the corner of the classroom. I would miss a lot of school from the anxiety of going and being bullied again. I would return back to school for tests and still pass them with flying colors . No one seen me as what I was , kind , smart and generous and loving . They seen me as those words that are so deep into my skin , that they never leave my mind. I was raised believing that words could never hurt me, fact is , I would rather be punched in the face a million times than be called everything I was , not only in school , but at home too. I would rather sit in silence for days than let my hurtful words echo in someone’s heart forever .
We need to stop the hate . We need to stop the bullying . This starts at home ! This starts with our children. Kindness conquers all . Be kind to everyone always . Make your heart the most beautiful thing about you . We will rise by lifting others .
It’s time to be better humans . #antibullying#bekindtooneanother#stophate#bethechange 🌎 #standupforyourself#standupforsomeone#startsathome#dobetter#bebetter#inspire#loveabully#loveneverfails#kindnessmatters#love

How many of you grew up hearing this proverb? Well, it’s complete crap. Words are some of the most powerful things that we have.
This weekend, someone gave me an unexpected apology for a hurtful experience a few years ago. Although they were not the person who had said the hurtful things to me, they were connected to the situation. It was a situation that affected both me and my children.
This situation was several years old and I still appreciate that someone took the time to say that I had been wronged and they were sorry for their part in it.
The current climate in our country and social media shows how easily words are used as weapons. It was a good reminder how powerful an honest apology can be! #wordsdohurt
