❌QUICK FIX LOW CALORIE DIETS!!! ❌
Have you ever dieted, felt a million dollars with your results and within weeks found yourself back at square one or even in a worse place than when you began??
If yes... now ask yourself!
🔸Did you get quick results?
🔸Were you on low calories?
🔸Why were you not able to keep the weight off? .
Dieting seems complicated but its pretty black and white really. Calories are calories despite what source they come from. Yes.. I prefer to promote the clean kind but thats a convo for another day. .
Ireland has gone pretty cray-cray on the whole fitness fitfam thing and this is really great but the occurence of "quick fix low calorie" diets is increasing. The amount of short "transformations" promoted on social media is shocking and quite sad actually.
Heres a few things to note for those considering a transformation: .🔸You can diet on a deficit as small as 10-15% 🔸1200 calories is not a healthy maintainable calorie allowance .
.🔸By going low calorie you are offering yourself up to metabolic damage .
.🔸Slowing down your metabolic rate can then lead to your body requiring less calories to function
🔸You finish your "5/6 week transformation", you feel amazing, you show all your friends your amaxing results and of course increase your calories .
.🔸What happens???....... calorie surplus = WEIGHT GAIN!!!!! .
But wait theres more....
Sooo... you have gained weight. You remember you had an amazing "5/6 week transformation" with Johnny down the road and you hop back on another transformation for another €100 and your friends who saw your "amazing transformation" hop on board to. The "Lets lose weight but F- Up your metabolism in the process" bandwagon!! 🙈 .
🔹Yo-yo dieting is not the long term answer
🔹There is no quick fix transformation
.🔹Work hard, eat well, maintain a small calorie deficit
🔹Ask your coach or personal trainer how many calories you are on AND
🔹Always consider your health .
