Underneath Koocanusa Bridge with @tatedunkel just north of my old climbing spot, Stone Hill Montana.
Stone Hill is one of the few places with solid rock in Northwest Montana. You can thank Mother Nature for the freeze-thaw cycle; it's not too easy on MT rock.
@tatedunkel has been my climbing partner for over 20 years. I once destroyed my ankle at Stone Hill. Tate gave me a piggy back ride most of the way down to the car. It was a mile long downhill scree pile. Truley a hardcore dude and a great guy.
This bridge is the tallest and longest in Montana. It spans the entire width of Lake Koocanusa, giving access to the Amish community on the west side and the Yaak Valley in the northwest portion of the Forest.
