LETS TALK CAFFEINE:
This right here is NOT coffee. My body cannot handle caffeine. I know SO many people who can down large coffees, soda, and energy drinks all day and not even really feel...energized. The most caffeine I do in a day is 1 tea, and I sip it throughout to keep my energy up. When I do drink caffeine I feel SO shakey, weak, anxious, sick, etc. Why can't I drink caffeine and you can drink it all day? WELLLL::Caffeine sensitivity has to do with your genetic makeup that determines to what degree a given amount of caffeine is needed to affect you. CYP1A2 is the enzyme used to metabolize caffeine in the liver. Some people genetically produce very little of this enzyme while others produce a large amount. Clearly I am on the LOW end and the rest of my family and friends are on the HIGH end. So next time they tell me that I'm being dramatic because I only had a little bit of coffee, I can blame them for my genes 😘. Even if you can drink a lot be careful to some of the side effects...consuming more than 500-600 mg of caffeine a day may lead to insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, irritability, an upset stomach, a fast heartbeat, muscle tremors and it's addicting. 😐 that doesn't sound fun ☕️
