This is our co-director, Cherie.
Cherie likes: a seriously clean, ordered, minimalistic home. Gender equality, and equal pay for equal work. Thick eyebrows. People. Funny people. Laughing until her x3 chins are hosting their own “chin party”. Pleasing people. And good manners.
Cherie dislikes: people who share viral videos of pimples being squeezed on FB [it turns her stomach for DAYS!]. Refugees in detention centres when there is *so* much room in this big, wide country of ours. Laziness, and a poor work ethic. Sudden, loud noises. Surprises. Mess. Superficial people. Being late for ANYTHING. Thin eyebrows.
Next up? ... Melinda ;)
As with anything else in life it is all a balance. Being able to lean into discomfort and uncertainty with bravery. That is my challenge, while I am travelling or at any other time. Seeing all the beautiful shades of grey and staying flexible. For the richness of life is only experienced by being vulnerable, something I have always shied away from.
Now it is time to take a dip in the lovely pool, just steps away from my computer. It is important to remind myself to live in the moment and be grateful for my wonderful life!

Nothing worth having or doing is easy.
You have to go through every sort of challenge. Sometimes, you suffer mental health due to the journey but thats how you grow. That's what needs to happen. You need to break down to grow a fresh you. You need to reach the line of giving up to realize you need to push forward. All I'm saying is it's not going to be easy. That's why you are probably the only one among your friends, family, etc doing this...I can't promise you it'll get easy but I can GUARANTEE you it's going to be worth it if you don't quit!
Saying goodbye to your comfort zone means saying goodbye to all things and people holding you back, which is why it's one of the hardest things to do💯

#motivation I do not bemoan misfortune. To me there is no misfortune. I welcome whatever comes; I go out gladly to meet it. But he whom the Spirit really guides cares nothing whether he is in a beaten or an untrodden path. Patiently and fearlessly, wherever it may lead him, in the broad highway or across the dangerous ravine, he follows his own star…learn more at slay motivation 👉www.slaylebrity.com/users/slaymotivation

🇹🇭Thailand is an amazing country. Such a diversity of places with the islands and beautiful beaches down south, the never-sleeping big city Bangkok, Chiang mai up north and too many other cool places to mention. 😍
Combine that with nice warm weather, delicious cuisine, super friendly people, incredible hospitality, culture, muay thai and affordability (although you can get all the luxury you desire if you want to splurge) and it's easily one of the top destinations you should add to your must-travel to list. ✈️ What's your favorite place and things to do in Thailand? 🇹🇭
We are BIG fans of #Harrogate based Digital Boutique Agency @wearedigique and are excited to confirm that Amanda McCourt, their Founder + Director is coming to do a #POWERHOUR at our next #Harrogate TRIBE meet up on 10th January sharing her expertise with our members and guests + giving an ⚡️introduction to social media to promote new business and generate sales⚡️all followed by our #girltribegang relaxed networking.
Amanda's mission is to bring brands to life, through visual storytelling and to help aspirational brands tell impactful stories, whilst converting followers into customers.
Amanda studied Creative Writing and English Literature at University and went into the world of Marketing and PR, working with some big brands, travelled, and quickly found the 9-5 world a tedious place to be for a creative. She made the decision to quit and secured her first freelancing gig, managing social media for a startup. A couple of months later gained another, and then another. And, so her freelancing career began.
Last September, a year into freelancing, she was feeling a little lonely and de-motivated. So, as you do, wrote a list. A list of why she loved freelancing and a list of why she didn't. Her list of woes went a bit like this; invoicing, chasing invoices, managing expectations, finding the confidence to be strong with a client about direction and lastly, finding a distinct lack of time to be truly creative. Her list of loves on the other hand; freedom, flexibility, creativity, social community management, working with fab brands.
So she reached out to fellow freelancers to find out what they liked/disliked. At large, they were feeling the much of the same. So she thought - what if she could take away all the negatives and allow freelancers access to only the positives? Giving them the opportunity and freedom to be solely creative and manage their communities. And so the concept of Digique was born. She has since welcomed 5 fabulous retainer based members to the team. But, including all the wonderful project based creatives in Digique’s little black book, there’s 15 of them.

Time for a bit of mid week motivation. Behind every successful person is the person themselves. You are the passport to your own success. Believe in what you do, who you are and what you stand for and others will too.
