Lately I've been having that "JUST JUMP" feeling and honestly I've JUMPED all week.
I prayed, asked God for WISDOM and JUMPED! The experiences that I was Bless to be apart of this past week have been nothing but blessing from God!

Throw back to this time last year. When I learnt what it actually means to love myself. When I pushed myself, hit goals, got a lot of external praise and realized "fuck, there is so much more to happiness than what is on the outside". When I began the journey to healing what was on the inside regardless of what that would look like on the outside. I learnt true self love and I gained freedom.
Spending this coming week grateful to be celebrating love 💗 and experiencing the Eclipse. 🌞
Travelled all day yesterday and when we finally made it to Jackson Wyoming I had been up for 20 hours and I was so tired....but the beauty that is Wyoming overwhelmed me. 💫
Day 2 of Coffee + Sugar Detox☕
Bulletproof Chai latte recipe: one cup of steeped chai tea, dash of unsweetened almond milk, 1 tbsp XCT oil, a little honey, 1/2 tsp of ashwaghanda, 1/2 tsp of raw cacao ✨ I also would've added @furtherfood collagen but it hasn't arrived yet 😭
Ashwaghanda is an adoptogenic herb that helps the body deal with stress and anxiety. Raw cacao is a "superfood" that is rich in iron, magnesium, calcium, sulphur (which helps the body naturally detox), among other antioxidants. I'm hoping these two will help me balance my hormones and 'reset' my body these next 2 weeks! I'm also diffusing wild orange, grapefruit and eucalyptus to help energize myself this morning ☀️ #gbdetoxchallenge
Two words: YOU CAN.
Before my first pregnancy I weighted around 135 lbs., but at the time I wasn't active besides being on my feet at work... I never would've thought that I would gain over 70 lbs. over the course of the pregnancy. Between working two jobs at over 40 hrs. per week & being on my feet constantly, I just didn't have any energy left for exercise. Plus, being on my feet that long each week caused a lot of swelling & pain, so when I got home from work I was just sedentary.
I had my son in 2011 & 18 months later, had my daughter. The changes my body went through at that time were incredible... Going from one extreme to another with the weight fluctuation. I was very uncomfortable with myself after my pregnancies... I was used to more mobility & looking at myself & hardly recognizing myself was difficult.
As soon as I hit my 6 week mark after having Aislynn, I started exercising seriously & I was determined to not let up. I started at home with circuit training & HIIT. I would devote at least 20 min. to training each night after the kids went to bed or any time during the day that I could squeeze it in... gradually my body started to change... I lost the bulk of the weight I'd gained at home, but it wasn't until I incorporated weights into my routine that I started to see my body shape changing.
By far, weights had the greatest impact on my weight loss.
The weight training was a huge part of it, but the biggest part was nutrition. I researched & studied like crazy to educate myself on proper nutrition & supplementation that would give me the results I desired. The more I learned, the more I changed & once I got the ball got rolling on progress it just snowballed into more & more progress.
I think the trick is to never stop learning. Learning is growth, growth creates progress.
Whatever it is you're chasing, whatever your goals may be,
Know this: you can do it. If you will it, it will be. Trust yourself to see it done!

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO... 'GO OUTSIDE & PLAY'?
In the 80s, kids roamed the streets, cycled their bikes, and played outdoors with their friends.
I was a Free-Range Kid. I couldn't wait to wake up and get out into the street to play football for the entire day, interrupted only by a short break for afternoon lunch, then back out there until the evening sunset.
Children today spend half the time their parents did playing outside. Kid's today are no longer out in the real world, playing games or exercising.
This era we're all too consumed with screens and devices.
Steven Spielberg's movie 'Ready Player One' is a sign of things to come!
