Happy Sunday! In honor of #nationalcatday please meet VJEL's Senior Notes Editor for Vol.19 , Daniel Wilcox, A.K.A. Mr. GQ of Vermont, king of the Oxford comma, or our more widely known as devoted 😺 dad.
@daniel.wilcox joined VJEL for the opportunity to learn environmental law, have an influence on its development, and advance professionally.
Daniel is interested in how environmental law can nudge our society towards a more balanced relationship with the 🌏. He likes how it addresses an issue--environmental health--that underpins all other rights and goods we enjoy as a society. Ultimately, he is most interested in constitutional rights to and for healthy ecosystems and all major environmental legislation that brings us closer to the broader goal of a healthy relationship with the 🌍. Wondering how Mr. GQ feels about being on the journal now? Daniel: "I like VJEL because we are a family with a mission. We are passionate about our journal and environmental law, and about supporting and having fun with each other--which we do." ❤👍🏻💪🏻 When he passes the bar he wants to get a job, start a garden, and run for office. 🇺🇸 #environmentalist#environmentallaw#lawstudent#lawjournal#constitutionallaw#earthjustice
Day 1 of SWOTVAC (revision week in Australia). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I'm focussing on co-ownership and equitable assignments of property (which I'm probably going to need a few days to review.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And yep, to make it all the more fun and stressful, I have back to back night exams (yay, just super yay!!!).
More and more lawyers are choosing to start their own virtual firms and work from anywhere in the world. If you could choose any country in the world to work from, where would it be? I would choose New Zealand!
For those of you who didn’t know, my entire blog crashed last weekend. I had to start fresh although I did have some of my posts saved as Word documents. As a result, I only have a few posts on my blog but more will be coming very soon. New post is up on my first month at Law School. The link is in my bio! Hope you’re having a blessed Sunday.
