We’re into the Top 15, as the list narrows down. At #15 , I have the Mets. The Mets were a struggling team last season, but i predict them to have a breakout season with Cespedes, Conforto, DeGrom, and Syndergaard. This is a fun team to watch when the whole team isn’t injured, and have a great pitching staff. At #14 , I have the Mariners. The Mariners just missed the playoffs this past season, and have signed a good bullpen arm in Juan Nicasio, and traded for one of the fastest players in the league, Dee Gordon. This is also a very fun team to watch, with Cruz, Cabo, Seager, Gordon, and Segura. But if the pitchers can’t do anything, they’re not gonna go anywhere. But they definitely have the potential to be dangerous. At #13 , I have the Cardinals. The Cardinals are still looking to sign a SP, but the fans think they’re going to trade for every player possibly. Overall, I don’t see the Cards making the playoffs. At #12 , I have the Twins. The Twins were a good team last season, but need to sign another SP. Also, 3B Miguel Sano needs to figure out what’s going on, or they’re not going anywhere. And finally below the Top 10, are the Rockies. The Rockies are definitely a dangerous team this upcoming season, and are another fun team to watch. The bullpen in Colorado is one of the best in baseball, and their fans should be excited! What are thoughts on this? Comment below!
We’re in the Top 20 now, and at #20 I have the Giants. The Giants won the World Series 3 times in 5 years this decade, and didn’t have the best year last year. It’s starting to like they’re targeting washed up players, as they recently traded for 3B Evan Longoria. They’ve got Madison Bumgarner and Buster Posey, but other than that, there isn’t much of a team. I don’t expect them to have the best year, but will improve from last year. At #19 , I have the Pirates. Last year the Pirates finished 4th in the NL Central, and are looking to trade veterans like Andrew McCutchen, Gerrit Cole, and Josh Harrison as they’re trying to build around 1B Josh Bell and Closer Felipe Rivero. The Pirates definitely look dangerous with their prospect system, but need to let them develop in years to come. At #18 , I have the Braves. The Braves were not a good team last year, but they’re my breakout team this coming season. Players such as Dansby Swanson, Ozzie Albies, and Freddie Freeman are there core 3. Swanson and Albies still have some development to do, but definitely could be a dangerous duo eventually. At #17 , I have the Phillies. The Phillies has breakout star, Rhys Hoskins last season, and just recently signed Carlos Santana. They also have players such as Nick Williams, Odubel Herrera, and Maikel Franco who they look to build around. I really enjoy watching this Phillies team, and will definitely be a dangerous team if they can sneak in the playoffs within 2-3 years if the pitching staff can stay healthy. At #16 , I have the Rangers. The Rangers are one of the teams that bother me the most in the MLB, because most of the fans think they’re going to win the division. The AL West is one of the toughest divisions in baseball, as they have the Reigning Champs, Mike Trout, and ALL scary teams. Also, the Rangers always seem to be signing washed up starters and plan on making them stars. As much as I love talking to some Rangers fans, I just don’t see them doing any better then last year and finishing 4th or 5th in the AL West. Also, the Mariners and Angels ARE better then the Rangers, and DM me if you disagree. What are your thoughts on this? Comment below!
It’s been a roller coaster of a ride for Cub fans this year, coming off of a World Series victory then having a huge up and down season finishing it off with ANOTHER trip to the NLCS going for a pennant. Just wanna thank all of you that have stayed with me throughout all of this and sorry for not being able to post as often because of starting college and all that mess. Calling this; Cubs go 94-68 and go back to the World Series after making a huge blockbuster trade this offseason🤔 #FlyTheW
Happy Holidays Cub fans, would you guys like a late Christmas gift in #MannyMachado ? Almora Jr, Montgomery and Addi Russ for Machado? Would you guys like that trade? Take the poll on my story on what you would agree with. #FlyTheW
Hey #Cubs fans, I know it’s been a bit since my last post because of college, college baseball and the whole nine. But so far it’s been a pretty slow offseason the only huge deals were #Stanton to the #Yankees and #Ohtani to the #Angels , but the Cubs have made few moves that I personally like; #SteveCishek is a sidearmer from a DII school in Tennessee and operates in the upper 80 range and has touched low 90 before. His funky arm slot, heavy moving fastball and frisbee slider is going to get many out this season and he actually holds the #Marlins most consecutive saves record and has a career 121 saves at the moment. #FlyTheW
If the #Cubs could only sign one free agent who would it be? These guys all had pretty big roles in the 2017 season, #JakeArrieta and #WadeDavis had the biggest roles, #Davis just came off of a record breaking season and was also a very vital piece in the playoff run, but the same with #Arrieta . #BrianDuensing was solid this season and through out the playoff run. #KojiUehara was great out of the pen but an injury cut his season short. #AlexAvila and #ReneRivera we’re great catchers to support #WillsonContreras , the lineup and the pitching staff as they both had 1.000 fielding percent behind the plate. (Their stats were with the Cubs this season). #FlyTheW
