If the #Cubs could only sign one free agent who would it be? These guys all had pretty big roles in the 2017 season, #JakeArrieta and #WadeDavis had the biggest roles, #Davis just came off of a record breaking season and was also a very vital piece in the playoff run, but the same with #Arrieta . #BrianDuensing was solid this season and through out the playoff run. #KojiUehara was great out of the pen but an injury cut his season short. #AlexAvila and #ReneRivera we’re great catchers to support #WillsonContreras , the lineup and the pitching staff as they both had 1.000 fielding percent behind the plate. (Their stats were with the Cubs this season). #FlyTheW
I would thank all of my awesome #chicagocubs for putting on one the best season this year. You guys work so hard every single day and night for us fans . Thank you so much for doing what you do . Have restful off season see you all soon .. #letsgocubs
"Thank You and Farewell, 2017 Chicago Cubs"
It's Official: The Chicago Cubs are eliminated from the 2017 MLB Postseason.
As a loyal fan of this team for 19 years, I'm the one who will say "Thank You!" to the Chicago Cubs organization. I do not feel the disappointment as the Cubs postseason journey comes to an end. Instead, I'm very proud of them on all they've done - becoming the 2nd straight National League Central Division Champions, getting into another playoff appearance since 2015, and especially winning the World Series in 2016.
Congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers and my respect to you for a well-fought battle on besting the Cubs in the NLCS.
Good luck on the 2017 World Series.
Thank you for this season. See you real soon for the 2018 MLB Season!

Alright let's be realistic #Cubs fans. It's 9-1 top six. The season is over and personally I don't think that it was the Cubs talent that just wasn't up to par, the team is just physically and mentally exhausted. Last season they were playing until early NOVEMBER (end result was pretty good though), it doesn't help that the series with the Nationals went a full 5 game series, and a game got postponed and moved to another date giving the Cubs another day less of recovery from the NLDS to the NLCS, especially how much the pen was overworked throughout the NLDS. Besides #WadeDavis it really hasn't been great. Over 20 walks combined from the pen. The hitting has been pretty fine in the first few innings, always grabbing the lead early this series with the Dodgers but that would be it and the pitching staff wasn't able to hold it, but the starters can't throw a complete game shutout every outing and the pen can't be perfect either. The Cubs were up against great talent and to beat the Dodgers they would've had to be fully healthy all around but they aren't, you were able to see fatigue in the Nationals series. Even in an interview Kris Bryant said that the Cubs were tired during this series with LA. But hey there's always last season and next season, they're going to get a much needed break and should be going to their FOURTH NLCS in a row next season, especially with the talent that they have on this team. #FlyTheW
