These jerks took the perfect campsite, so I used them as my photo prop.
I showed them.
Seriously, though, I don't think there is a bad campsite at the a Trona Pinnacles. I want to spend a week here getting weird taking night photos.
This past year was filled with truly, exceptional travel. My antidote for all of life’s dull and stressful moments. Sure, you can call it running away... I simply consider it to be discovering something new- shifting my perspective on all there is to see in this world. I’ve crossed off destinations I’ve only dreamt of visiting and gained something money, clothes and my frivolous spending could never buy; experience, memories....adventure. Mental postcards of each place engraved in my mind, a love letter to my soul. Never be afraid to chase what truly makes you feel alive! ✈️✨
Words move in power, so let yours resound. Release truth with your tongue, bind darkness with your mouth.
Happy birthday to my best pal! Love this guy right here and everything he lives for! Cheers to many more years of birthdays and adventures 🍻🤘🏻 - @legomyclay
The last couple of winters I've been in NYC on the Upper East Side. ⠀
Every couple of days I'd walk down to the East River and stare at this exact view. I miss it. Even if the wind is cold as a knife on the walk down there. It gets tunneled down the streets and cuts through your clothes.⠀
but soon as you see the water glittering in front of you and the river traffic... well that lifts my mood. Living near water is very important to my mental health. I grew up by the sea and I seem to need large bodies of water as a background to my life. I always found it hard all those years I lived in India.⠀
Where I am this winter isn't that close to water. But I've seen on the map there's an old Abbey nearby that has massive fishponds (as was). From above they look like reservoirs. So far either the weather or my walking has been too wretched to get me down there, but I'll get down there next week for sure. ⠀
(and the walking thing is still from the vertigo - that takes soooo long to get over!)⠀

After 7 days of back and forth fatigue, stomach upset, volatile emotions and other unsavory symptoms I think I am finally over my jet lag! We also arrived at our next location today and I am feeling 🙌🏽
The beach where right before the sun sets busses full of tourists come to see (a.k.a. take pictures of) the sunset. They say it’s the most beautiful sunset of Bali, but also during the day it’s lovely. Not too crowded, good beach to swim most of the time and it’s not too far from Canggu and Seminyak. Oh and the beds are not as expensive as in Kuta and Canggu. Love it.

From then sand // Special sunset I managed to catch the other day, from just a narrow sand space that connects a beach to a cool lil island 🏝🙌
Expectation: Taking picture with the full view of the red kochia park. I’ll be in the middle of the park looking small yet happy.
Reality: can only found this lil corner of red kochia. And it was quite late in the evening. But then that’s okay-lah. I’m good.
