Some days you hit it and some days you don't. Today was most definitely a weak day for me. Its frustrating trying to balance food intake with strength gains when I know I need to be taking in more to hit my PRs, but I also have a goal in mind on my cut.
My push presses and deadlifts suffered and I was in a terrible mood going into my workout. But I pushed. I made it.
So here's to a new day tomorrow. Knowing that this place isn't permanent. I also mimiced a thai chicken salad today without realizing I had no peanuts, so yea.. those are tortilla chips. At least my macros were on fleek..
Did some meal prep earlier. I find it convenient to have my meals for the upcoming days ready so I don’t have to worry about cooking after a long day. These are some of my personal favorites! I know it all looks good and let me just say...THEY TASTE BETTER THAN THEY LOOK! 🤤
Incline Dumbbell Press:
Doing the incline press with dumbbells really helps improve shoulder stability and balance out the strength between both arms. As a former footballer/oline-man I tend to struggle with some shoulder issues here and there, and I've noticed that when I keep this exercise in my routine, the issues rarely come about.
In this video I'm not doing a lot of weight (for me), as I wanted to focus more on controlling the weight and getting a slight pause at the bottom before each press. This really helps me make that mind-muscle connection and really work the chest muscle!
Keep these bad boys in your routine!
When doing these I like to do 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps (slow & controlled). Give em a try!

Today's workout is pretty similar to one that I recently did! The only piece equipment that you'll need is a jump rope & a mapped out 800m run.

I made this a bit faster, I can't actually move that fast 😂. Today was 9 sets of these. 12 #deadlifts , 9 power #cleans , and 6 push #jerks , along with 40 cal on the #assultbike . Between yesterday's workout and today's.... tomorrow is going to be a very sore day #gains 💪🏼. Side note, sometimes I don't realize how big I'm getting until I see these videos!
