This past week or two I’ve been absolutely swamped and have hardly had a minute to do anything for me. It’s nice now that comp season is over that I can dedicate more time to my clients, my business, my friends, my family and my relationship. But this week I poured so much into everyone else that I realised I didn’t give anything back to ME.🖤
I struggled to get all my training done and ended up forgoing the cardio I would usually be tapering off from at this point. 😣 I got around 6 hours sleep a night instead of my usual 8. I didn’t have time to write my own training or nutrition plan, so I was going through the motions with a lack of structure and purpose. ☠️
I had a bit of a meltdown over the fact I felt so lost and feel like I have no goal or purpose in my training right now. That “post comp depression” sure hit after pouring every ounce of my soul into something for 4 months and now feeling like I have nothing to work towards. 🌚
This weekend I made time to get my OWN goals sorted. Without a goal, I can’t live my life with my usual purpose and intent. I set my new macros (a little experiment I’m doing on myself 😏), I set my new training plan, and although I don’t have a set event or competition at the moment, what I DO have is a plan to continue to better myself every day. 💪
Intent ✅ are the things I need to prosper in every aspect of my life.
And so the lesson of the week is... always give to yourself as much as you give to others. 💜 If you don’t look after your own energy you will have nothing left to give. 🙌

LISS on the weekends is usually a 4 mile walk at Chaparral Park with my roommate! When the weather is nice, take advantage and get active outdoors! ☀️🌵
