My kind of Black Friday is PINK! Instead of shopping, I got in four 7- minute circuits while AJ played in the park. Some sunshine, a little soft grass, a towel and a bench was all the equipment I needed. 🌞🌞 I know 28 minutes may not seem like much to some of y'all, but it means the world to me. It means I'm getting stronger and exercising is getting easier. One 7-minute workout used to whoop my ass and it doesn't anymore. 😅🙌🏿💪

20 Push Press (20 lb kettlebells)
200 meter run or row (did 50 jump rope singles)
3 Rounds complete and 12 reps into Thrusters in round 4.
72 Thrusters 🔸 60 Push Press 🔸 150 Jump Rope singles

This was my reality all day today. Even when I️ don’t overeat, my body definitely feels I️t when I️ have more starch or sodium than usual.
My strategy to beat the bloat or swelling is drinking tons of water.
Anyone else hit the water hard the day after eating different than normal?

You need to do both in your routine but to a certain extent to maximise their effect depending on your goals and available time. .
Regardless of what your goals are, weights training should be the foundation of your routine. .

It’s been exactly 1 year today since i started my weight loss journey. These pictures were taken on Thanksgiving Day. The left Thanksgiving 2016 and the right Thanksgiving 2017. It’s been a long hard road but i made it. I’ve lost 61 pounds in 12 months. I have gained all kinds of muscles. I have gotten my confidence back that i lost long ago when i started abusing my body with lots of unhealthy daily choices and neglect. I have more energy. I feel like a new person. I fell in love with fitness along the journey. I love sweating and lifting weights. I no longer feel comfortable when i stuff myself with food until I’m ready to pass out. I have learned how to eat until I’m satisfied. I learned how to eat more nutritious food while still having the higher calorie foods i love in moderation and not feeling deprived. I’ve learned how to get right back on track if i go over my calorie deficit or I skip a workout. Was it easy? Heck No! Was it worth it? Darn right! Can anyone do it? Oh yes! My first post i made on this page was “I wasn’t going to workout today but I’m tired of starting over “ That speaks volumes now that i look back. If i would have given up like i always did then i would never seen how far i would come today. If you’re trying to lose weight and get in shape I hope sharing my public story will help motivate you. It’s not going to be easy but it does get easier as your body and mind get use to the new lifestyle. You can do it. A year of daily choices adds up to big progress. You have to keep going and i promise you will get there. When you get there you will be so glad you kept going and you will inspire others to do what you did. ❤️ You got this! I hope everyone had a filling Thanksgiving! I know I did!! I spent my holiday with friends and we laughed so incredibly much! It was honestly such a blast and I am so happy I was able to spend quality time with my adopted family. We watched movies, played board games, ate way too much food, and drank amazing wine.
