Cherry and Chocolate wheee! Healthy Fudgy Protein Bars!!
Fudgy Cherry and Chocolate Protein Bars
* 1/2 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 C unsweetened almond milk for low fat version or 2 T coconut oil
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 oz unsweetened dark chocolate bar
* 2/3 cup @quest chocolate protein powder (OR ½ cup vanilla protein powder + 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder)
* 1 cup crispy brown rice
* 1 cup crispy freeze dried cherries
* For the topping:
* 1 T sugar free chocolate chips
1️⃣. Heat peanut butter, almond milk or coconut oil, chocolate bar and vanilla in a saucepan over a very low heat. Remove from heat and stir in protein powder until smooth, then fold in crispy brown rice and dried cherries. Place in a 8x4 inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
2️⃣. Sprinkle chocolate chips.
3️⃣. Place in fridge overnight before removing from pan and cutting into 8 to 10 squares.
4️⃣.Store bars in fridge tightly wrapped or in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
I used @traderjoes peanut butter, almond milk, stevia extract, unsweetened baking chocolate and vanilla extract. I used Kashi Crispy Brown Rice and Mother Earth Products Freeze Dried Cherries. For protein powder, I used Quest Protein Powder. I used @lilys_sweets_chocolate sugar free chocolate chips. Coconut oil I use is @nutiva.

비계가 2/3인 항정살 300g에 여자주먹 반만한 크기에 먹을게 별로 없었던 미니족 3개 아몬드브리즈라떼로 1식 끝.
항정살 먹기만 하면 배가 종일 너무 아팠는데 굽고 한바가지로 남은 기름 두 스푼 빼고 다 버리고 야채 볶으니 배가 안아프다! 지방이 많아도 너무 많아서 그랬나봐ㅜㅜ
그리고 버터간장소스에 찍어먹으니 존맛! 간만에 항정살 맛있게 먹음
근데 지방량이 좀 부족한 느낌? 금방 배고플거같아..
This #whole30 dinner was great, and so easy! I oven roasted some veggies (and tried celery, thanks to @addicted_to_lovely). Then I doctored up some bland leftover chicken with #macsawesomesauce by @healthylittlepeach. The celery was a perfect vehicle for the sauce. 😍

Ok, LAST POST TODAY SORRY. But these just came in the mail! I love @flapjacked products. Been using their protein pancake mix in the waffle maker on mornings when I have time. Ordered these off of amazon because I was dying to try them. So hyped on these. They’re 8 #weightwatcherssmartpoints . Which is a little higher than I’d like, but the macros on them are perfect. I just had S’mores for dessert and it really does feel like eating a muffin or a piece of cake. Think these are gonna be a staple as a sneaky treat from now on.
Guys... I did it. The base crust is 4g carbs a slice and delicious! It tastes like real pizza😍 the whole meal(2 slices), depending on toppings, is 10g of carbs. I'm so so thankful. I've wanted nothing more than pizza this week and I can finally do it in a way that doesn't jeopardize my new eating habits at all. It also is insanely filling for just 2 small slices. This was my first go so I have some modifications for the next time but I'm thrilled.💜🍕💛

✨STOR DAG✨ i hela mitt liv har jag lidit av svår allergi mot ägg, fisk, fågel, skaldjur osv. Innan LCHF så åkte jag in akut minst en gång per månad i astma & allergianfall. Sedan jag började med LCHF har jag minskat min astmamedicinering till 1/10 och inte behövt åka in akut en enda gång. Därför blir jag nyfiken på om min kost läkt ut mina allergier också😜 igår ringde sjukhuset och ville att jag skulle komma in på födoämnesretning redan idag! Så det var bara att köpa en fryst torsk, googla som bara fan hur man tillagar och ta med i matlåda! Upp 04 imorse för att ta mig in till sjukhuset vilket är en bra bit bort. Hur som helst är jag mycket nyfiken - idag är en stor dag för mig. Jag vet ju inte ens vad fisk smakar 😂 tänk! So last week I baked chicken....... and forgot it was baking lol soooo I over cooked it. We did our best to eat a few even tho they were terribly dry. There was 3 leftover breasts sitting in the fridge so pitifully being passed up by all the other leftovers and newly prepped foods. So today I decide to rescue them! I made them into a Chicken No-Noodle Soup!
3 pitiful dry chicken breasts- shredded
2-32oz bottles of chicken broth(one low sodium, one regular.. cuz I'm a rebel!)
1lb shredded carrots(#impastas ...🤣)
7 stalks of celery finely chopped(because we hate celery.. but have to eat it anyways)
1stick of butter...(because.... why not?)
2tbs dry minced onion(think smarter not harder!)
1tbs seasoning salt.
I first pulled apart the pitiful chicken, placed it in the bottom of the crock pot. Poured the broth over it and threw the stick of butter on top!
Cooked it on low for about 8hours(it was extra pitiful.... so I did my best to drowned it to help revive it)
Opened the lid, stirred, Sprinkled the minced onion, stirred, added the shredded carrots, stirred.
Added the celery and stirred again! Why not stir it a few more times?
Final touch? Seasoning salt! And you guessed it...stiiiiir!
Set the crock pot on low again for 2 hours.. forgot about it (see my pattern?) while catching up on the Good Doctor with Dennis. Once I realized what the amazing smell coming from my kitchen was I turned off the pot lol.
Dispensed the soup into 1.5cup portions!
WHALLA! And that's how you make 10 new meals out of some pitiful dry chicken!
I don't want to do the math to find out the carbs/calories per serving... but hey.. that's 10 tasty low carb meals!

Almost forgot what day it was!! #transformationtuesday !!! I post these not to annoy my personal friends who follow my page, but to inspire anyone stuggling right now to get started trying yet again ANOTHER "diet". Ugg.... right? Sounds dreadful. But I want you to know my personal experience. I can tell that how I felt during my weight-loss and how I still feel today is more hopeful that this way of eating is my best shot at keeping my weight off. I've done it all (Nutri-system, low-fat, weight watchers, medifast, counting calories/increase exercise). All of them were super hard and I couldn't wait to be "DONE" with my "DIET". So I would dig deep, buckle down, lose the weight, reach my goal and "END" my "DIET". Within days/weeks I would begin a climb back up again because I could eat my delicious carbs and sugar and eat I would. Enter KETO. I would have never drempt of a day where sugary or carb laden foods didn't hold a grip on me...and yet, here I am. 3 plus months past hitting my goal and not only have I lost more, I'm enjoying the foods I can still eat and mental food feedom from the foods I no longer eat. Do much so that I plan to stay Keto forever. Much like a Vegetarian...it's not just a diet, it's a Way Of Eating. On the fence still?? Why not give Keto a try...what do you have to lose?
Orlando/Disney vacay, Day 4: So happy to report I stayed keto strong at Animal Kingdom! Breakfast was some on-the-go hotel ham and eggs on the way to the park. Lunch was a grilled chicken skewer with broccoli at Harambe’s Market in Africa. My snacks from home (especially those Quest cookies ... they’re SO good!) and Starbucks kept the hunger and cravings for non-keto foods at bay. Lastly, I had a very expensive (lol) bunless hot dog late in the afternoon. The park closed at 8 PM so we had dinner at Friday’s on the way to the hotel. I had some crispy sprouts with cotija cheese, buttery salmon, steamed spinach with parmesan cheese, and lemon-butter broccoli. It was surprisingly really good and probably the best meal I had on this trip! I have no clue what my calorie count was for the day buuut my goal for this trip was to stay low carb/keto and not fuss about calories or macros.
