The day I joined an accountability group to hold me accountable to my goals each month was the first time I finished a workout program and lost the excuses.
Today for example I had a full day of activities with the family and after dinner a workout was the last thing on my mind. But I pushed myself turned on the tv and killed it. Now I have so much energy and feel great that I did not let my team down.

I know I should've taken this run outside with 50 degrees in December, but I was in the mood for the treadmill. My weekly mileage wasn't what I had planned. I spent too much time last week trying to break in a new pair of shoes that just weren't working. My legs and feet felt pretty good today, but I didn't want to push it. I'm hoping I'll be back on track next week!
Okay so I finished my first week of workouts and following a meal plan. I drank beer, ate dessert and still saved $80. 💸You guys, I’m hooked. I’m also starting to see some tiny booty gains and I’m loving it. I ALMOST signed mike and I up for a gym membership because we want to really dive in after the new year. But it would be $300 for enrollment + 3 months for the two of us. That’s NOT in my budget 🙅🏻 So I just took things into my own hands (Virgo life). Busted my ass in the gym today. Literally. Tripped and fell in front of everyone. But I was rocking the #IAmLimitless hat so I picked my clumsy self up and finished my workout, twisted ankle and all. Too bad my girl @meganmtoler wasn't there to help me up. And then knock me back down again 😂 I have the most supportive friends!

Today's workout is bittersweet, after 21 weeks of working out in the Shift Shop I feel like my body is ready for a change. I had no idea when I started Day 1 that this program and these markers would change me like it has. Going through the Downing University group really changed things for me. Counting reps and timing the burnouts forced me to push myself harder than I would have done on my own. I will be forever grateful for this program, thank you, Chris Downing. And as always... #letsgetbetter

Saturday morning workout with a little bunny (who is totally eating carrots 😂) & a little dude (who loves to squat low 👊). They love to do workouts with mommy because they get to use their little weights.

This journey is about SO much more than working out.
This is about conquering what I had come to believe was unconquerable.

This is about pouring into the lives of others, about helping someone reach his or her full potential (my greatest joy!), and about giving, helping, supporting, empowering the people in my groups and on my team.
This is about making sure I leave the right legacy....because we all ARE leaving a legacy, but what will that legacy be?
I don't want to leave a legacy of illness, overweight, and shortened life. I don't want to leave a legacy of unrealized dreams and unfulfilled potential.

I know bigger things in life to worry about, but one of the things i asked before i cut my hair was to make sure that it would hold up to my workouts and stay in a ponytail. Drumroll please...it made it! Of course i am wearing one of hose invisibobble ponytail holders so it would get all crimped up!
BUT like seriously i literally used to be one those people who had every excuse in the book to not workout...and as sad or as familiar to some of you as this may sound a haircut or blowout would’ve been the perfect excuse to NOT take care of myself and workout. Looking back on it sounds kind of crazy but it’s true...any of you out there use this as your excuse...I’ll be honest and maybe a little harsh here but it doesn’t matter how good you look on the outside of you don’t take care of the inside with proper nutrition and exercise...just sayin’
Not too late to get into my January group...stop being tired of being sick and tired of how you look and feel.
