I’m going to talk about pumping up your email open rates. Last month, I gave five basic tips on how to pimp up your email subject lines. Today’s 3 tips will raise your game to the next level.
Remain consistent with your delivery time - keep to sending out your emails at the same time and day every week. It gives your audience a chance to keep a look out for your exciting content and also to allocate some time to consume it. .
I remember when I was a kid, I knew when my favourite magazine was to be out every week! I kept a reminder in my brain so I always know to bring enough money to buy it on the way home. When people know when your newsletter is arriving, it’s a higher chance that your email will be read.
Run split test- some subject lines just work better than others. You have no clue what ticks with them. The best way is to divide your list into two and test out the subject lines and you get a clearer idea the language and style to use.
Segmenting your audience - if your audience are interested in different product offering, try not to send one email for everyone! If it’s not relevant, then people will perceive your newsletter as of lesser value each time you send something irrelevant.
In your email software, tag who’s interested in which content and send them content that’s useful for them.
Don’t mass send information because that’s going to create an association of “uselessness” to your audience over time.

Day 209/365 👔 Networking Event Done
As said yesterday, there was a networking event today which turned out good!
These are some snapshots of the evening and gold friends I've come to get to know in just the 3 weeks I've been here!
I've also had the chance to connect with many other people and associations that I can benefit a lot from!
This event just comes to show how powerful networking is, both in university and afterwards, whether you are working or try to start your business.
Do you feel shy and that networking is not your thing? Get out there anyway because you most likely won't get far without good networking and relationships in this world!

Your brand is more than just a few fonts, some colors, and a logo. It includes everything that makes up your reputation.
And if I'm going to be branding myself with the hashtag #Value 💣 (see my bio) then I need to make sure I'm consistently dropping value on other platforms as well — especially the ones that matter the most, like YouTube 🎥.
