If you are a yogi who is currently missing your daily practice because of financial constraints, the Meraki Seva Program may be for you! We are looking for dedicated, organized and energetic yogis to help contribute to our community by keeping our space clean. For 2 hours of your time each week, we will offer you unlimited yoga each month. This is not a volunteer position but an equal exchange of Seva between student + studio. ⠀

Finding the moments to be still, can sometimes be hard, in our busy, often chaotic lives. But slowing your breath (actually paying attention) to your breath. Starts this process. It doesn't matter where you are, or really even what you are doing. Simply pause and pay attention to your breath. Do this for 5, 10 20 minutes(whatever you are able and desire) You will be surprised how Your Body and Mind , respond after just a few times. Kip always finds good spots to be still 💕 🌎✌🏻 #meditate ~
As I stood in awe of Uluru, waiting breathlessly for the sun to rise, I looked to my left to get a glimpse of Kata Tjuta, Uluru's sister rocks. And there, hanging above the sisters was the full moon in all her glory. Tears instantly flooded my eyes. This trip had just begun and the surprises kept unfolding. So I added to the Magic by imagining all my dreams and all my sorrows filling into a bubble. I whispered my gratitude for ALL of them and released them to my sister in the sky. "Until next time", I whispered and turned to watch the rising sun.

6/6 I gave a short dharma talk last night about the 'loving kindness' meditation practice to some of my fellow MNDFL teacher trainees. I was so inspired by our weekend retreat about the subject that I made these little gems to share. I used photos I'd taken previously, and the WordSwag app. They are 6x6" big and I had them printed at, of all places, CVS. I needed tight turnaround time. ;) I think they turned out really well!

❤ People always ask me how I stay focused when I have so much going on . For one I'm a workaholic and I love what I do.
But, I do have some Daily Rituals and Routine. I will SHARE a few of them with you. .
MY #1 habit is taking time Every morning to be QUIET, meditate, pray and Journal. The Secret sauce Visualization and Journaling exactly how I want my day 📔 .

I used photos I'd taken previously (this one was from a collage series I did last year called "My Mind Is.") I think they turned out really well!

It's okay to have set backs, to not be happy, to be upset. We always push being happy and healthy, but sometime apart of being healthy is dealing with whatever you have going on and understanding your emotions. You can't just ignore them and pretend everything's okay, because at some point you're going to break. Deal with the issues you have going on, cry, vent, meditate, or do whatever it is you do to cope with your problems and then push forward. You'll feel so much better and be relieved to get those feelings off your chest. #happyhumpday y'all 👋🏽 #doesanyoneactuallyreadthese 🤷🏼♀️
