Cocoa Bean & Pinto Bean came to me with their mom, MarMar, and sisters, Poppyseed & Pepita. Unfortunately, MarMar hated it here. She went on a hunger strike, stopped taking care of her babies, then actually started attacking them. It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my fostering career. In the end, both sisters died. MarMar was returned to the shelter, spayed and adopted out. Cocoa Bean tried his hardest to die but I talked him out of it. Pinto Bean just kept plugging along like the easy going boy he was.
Extra special thanks to @lafosterkittens for being my late-night support system during this time 👊
#tbt As the President of the Table Tennis Club my motto was "It's more about collaboration than it is competition". It didn't matter who you were or how well you played. Everyone could join and find their escape, stress relief, and joy as I did! My main goal was to bring students together and the club now has over 100 members in its history. This sport club pushed me to keep on fighting, and I'm proud of them. Thank You🏓👊
