This cookie makes us drool! @smitholator in @downtownmesa makes Oat Blue, a sturdy oatmeal cookie with fresh blueberries instead of raisins topped with fresh lemon glaze. The cookie shop also supports other local business and uses @haydenflourmills stoneground oats! 🍪 . . . .

Sometimes clients can be confused as to how exactly I apply the pigment while microblading. In between each stroke, I dip my blade in pigment. The blade deposits the pigment into the epidermis of each stroke. Once I have completed a pass on each brow, I will smudge more pigment in and let it sit while I work a pass on the other brow. This ensures that the stroke is getting fully saturated with pigment for the best result👍🏻

It helps to understand the academic preparation and experience your healthcare provider has to better understand how they serve you and specialize in the area that you're seeking help with. So, what does it take, academically, to become a PT? 👇👇👇
Physical Therapists earn a doctorate degree. It has not always been that way. When I graduated from PT school back in 2002, I graduated with my Master of Physical Therapy degree. The master degree level was the highest available at that time. I then completed a doctorate degree in 2009. By this time, all PT programs were at the doctorate level. That is a total of 8 years of academic preparation. A lot of intensive learning, clinical experiences and tests!! 😅
Physical therapists are experts in musculoskeletal injuries and conditions with consideration of all other body systems. This includes your nervous system, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, Etc. We are trained to treat the body holistically.
A pelvic physical therapist will then continue to attend further educational courses and dive into book work to specifically treat core & pelvic health conditions. As a physical therapist, I am bound to practice and ethical guidelines by my State Licensing Board. When graduating from PT school, graduates must take and pass a national licensing exam and state exam. Physical Therapists are required to keep their license up-to-date yearly and take a required number of hours of continuing education each year. In most all states, PT is direct access. So, this means one does not need a physician referral to go to a PT directly.
For me, going through PT school was intense and challenging, but the reward of being able to do what I do as well surpassed the effort. #ilovemyjob

My favorite sectioning for balayage.😘 what should i call this? 🤷Both of these looks had totally different outcomes obviously. I change the size and angle on the crown circle depending on how much brightness we want around the face! 👑👑

I remember when Jarrod Martinez first opened his front door. I was working with the 460 something businesses on Main during light rail construction and weekly I'd walk into the stores just to say hi. Jarrod's was an empty concrete room with glass Jewelry cases and a few paintings. We talked a little and he told me his grand vision which at that time, seemed far away. The place now is full of interesting pieces, interesting people and of course coffee and tea. Thank you Jarrod's Coffee, Tea & Gallery for making the street a little more alive. Thank you for sticking it out and bringing your concept to a reality. We all know, it's the people and small businesses on Main Street that make @downtownmesa so wonderful. Thank you for the smiles and positivity .
Jarrod's is now open Monday through Saturday! See Facebook, instagram or website for hours.
Oat Blue. A fresh take on the old classic. In lieu of raisins, we top this sturdy oatmeal cookie with fresh blueberries and after baking we top it again with fresh lemon glaze. Proud to support local and use @haydenflourmills stoneground oats in these bad boys 💪
4.5 HOURS LATER!!! Things take time and this took almost all day. This was a 6 step process.
Step 1: #foilyage the entire canvas with my "Stager" technique. Process to pale blonde.
Step 2: rinse and tone to a #neutralblonde .
Step 3: haircut/ blowdry
Step 4: refoil using mermaid blue and cobalt blue by @joicointensity Colors. Process.
Step 5: rinse in cool water, condition.
Step 6: Blow dry style with @awapuhiwildginger HydroCream whip mouse, curl with a 1" iron, then comb out with a wide tooth comb.
Remember with fashion colors they are a higher maintenance color technique, usually lasting 4-6 washes. BUT- once this color transitions she will have a beautiful lived in color! SCORE!!! @hairs_by_her
