While making my way through a back road, as I was carrying out an errand to grab some Sea Foam and some new spark plugs, there's this old, but elegant Roadster sitting on the side of the road, collecting dust and rusting away.
I believe it's maybe a late 1960's MGB? It looks like one to me. But what I like about this roadster that stands out to me is the bright red paint on it and the chrome trim, with a handsome looking, what appears to be a dual carbureted engine?
I looked at the undercarriage and I saw that it had seemed rusted to shit, but I wonder if anything is seized or not.
The interior for its age looked decent, it has a black interior (which I like a lot) and it is a 3-speed manual I believe (which is also good in my book). I'd probably like to obtain this car for a good restoration purpose though, it's body seems unmolested, and straight. Which are really good in my opinion. The soft top doesn't seem bad to me, or that bad at all.
I'll definitely come back around to this car again. I feel really interested in getting this. I just hope their asking price won't be so much considering how much work it might need to begin with. *I also forgot to mention that the odometer sits at 71,423 miles.
