I haven’t really felt like running the past couple weeks and the runs that I have done weren’t great. But today I did 5 km on the treadmill and it felt great so hopefully this rough patch is over. My plan for the winter is to focus on building core strength and stability, while still running about 2-3 times per week. Working toward some PRs next spring!

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday... sooo this pic is not from today.... today I’m on day 5 of the worst migraine I’ve had in awhile but I was just sitting her thinking that although there are a lot of things I’d rather be doing right now... I have sooo much to be thankful for... a few things at the top of that list would be my family, my freedom to worship the Lord, my friends, my freedom to bear arms, my job, my dogs, our home, a car... that runs (very well I might add 😜) the ability to run 3 Spartans this year (and hopefully next year too 😜) and so much more. A lot of people can’t say that... and it’s kinda sobering to look at what I’ve been given and realize just how much I take for granted in life... hope y’all have a great rest of your holiday. Promise I’m okay now. Fall & winter are very difficult seasons for my health, so I try to rest/hibernate as much as possible.
My pain is much, much better after our quick ER visit, my nausea is starting to be managed, and I’m currently on a new prescription for managing at home. Sometimes it just takes a bag of IV fluids to set you back on the right path haha. ♥️
My Grinch smoothie was a hit with my son. Its amazing how making something sound festive helps him not realise he was drinking spinach.
I've been drinking this shake every day for 5 weeks and I am amazing how much better my digestion is.
