100x pull ups and more bicep workouts, jeeez go home rene!
First off, no filter or any "touch ups" what so ever, just a picture. Secondly I was not going to put this picture out there, cause I'm a private man & I have my reasons. But you only live once & if I can help just 1 person, than I guess it is worth it. Thirdly, anything I've done for my body to get in shape, I could have done it 5,000 years ago, minus McDonalds & Gatorade😂. I do not eat any supplements, protein powder or any of that stuff. But what I do eat is what I see, usually. Can't be picky where I come from, got to eat what you got & make do. I know a lot of people think carbs are bad, but you would be amazed at how much carbs I eat, loads of them at times. But I do a lot of running, and carbs are my fuel. If you don't do a lot of running, you may not want to eat as many carbs, depends on your lifestyle. I use my body for my workouts. I do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups & I run a lot (long & sprints). I have never worked out at a gym, most I've done was run on a treadmill. Fourthly, by a very young age, like 7 or 8 years old, I started working like a dog. I'm not bragging, but I worked harder than most men growing up, always out to "prove myself " to people that underestimated me. People don't understand how lucky they are or appreciate what they have or the value of the dollar, until it's gone. Growing up I was pretty dang poor. When you shed blood, sweat & tears all daylong, some days 24 hours straight, & all you have to look forward to is grabbing you a dollar tea & burger at McDonalds for your pay, only then will you know the value of the dollar & respect for all things. I know Some people have it worse, & I humbly pray for them. Through my childhood, it has blessed me with drive, compassion & most importantly respect. As I got older I got wiser & started working for myself. There's a whole lot more of my story, but that is for another time...maybe. Any way don't know how I got sidetracked. My point is if you want to get in shape, you can do it, without a gym, without supplements, without a perfectly clean diet. Most important thing to have is the mindset, positivity, drive & respect. As my Granny would say "KEEP ON KEEPING ON!" GOD bless! #theswiftman
“Can I take a walk around your mind, love?
I promise not to toy or tamper.
I only wish to see:
The things that made you laugh as a child.
The corners where you’ve shoved your fears.
What has made cry more often than anything else.
How you truly feel about me.
The words you cling to in times of joy and sadness.
The thoughts that wander into your mind uninvited.
And the memory of the moment you decided to push love away.” - Shelley Jane 5/20/16
