Perhaps better known as “Colonel Sanders” of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame, Sanders had a hard time selling his chicken at first. He traveled across the U.S. looking for someone to sell his fried chicken, and after finally getting a business deal in Utah, Kentucky Fried Chicken was born. KFC is now one of the most recognizable franchises in the world, with over 18,000 locations.
The only person who has control over my life is ME. 💁
Slightly long post:
So tonight got a little emotional. Not so much in a negative or positive kind of way but in a way that I wish I could always see my life. After going through a couple ups and downs the last couple of weeks and one thing happening after another good and bad I have finally came to a point where I have realized that this is my life and I am not going to let anyone ruin this one chance that I get. I am here for a reason and I am becoming unapologetically me. Things in life are always going to happen that our out of out control and there is no need to worry about them. Life happens. Bad things happen. Good things happen. But no matter what I am going to be thankful through it all. This is my ONE chance to leave my mark and that is what I am going to do from here on out. I am going to do what I need to do to make myself happy because at the end of the day no.matter what happens. It is all on me how my life goes. So y'all let's live this shit to the fullest and enjoy every breathe while we breathe. 🤘
The next couple of weeks are going to be big and if you want to change your life to become the best version of yourself, keep an eye out. We can do this together 💕 Your not in this alone and you never will be. 👭 ☇
Been contemplating on breaking my lease and getting bigger & better office space. Decided not to and suck it up. It's getting tight in here! Save the money, not blow it... #sacrifice a little more for bigger dreams tomorrow. With that being said, its cheaper to redesign the existing office space today. Might be going all white and leave the black behind? Thoughts? Be interested to hear. - @jimmyluongofficial
Chest day best day🙌
The key to a bigger chest is to push yourself to failure on everything and do supersets and giant sets. I don’t go too heavy on anything, focusing on the squeeze and stretch is more important to me
Swole is the goal, size is the prize😎
I know a different pose for each, but honestly, this few month transformation, (February to now) has been a journey. I've had support from friends and family and God, who has never left my side. Looking to get even bigger. Thank you to everyone who motivated me and has been there for me. Bless you all💪💪
Bring it on SIBO PREP ✅✅. What is the Prep?
The SIBO breath test involves a 48 hour prep diet, a 12 hour fast prior to the test, and a 3 hour breath test. During this prep, I stop taking all non-essential medications, supplements, and pro-biotics. The goal is to starve the bacteria in order to produce the best results when doing the test. SIBO bacteria love plant products and sugars, so the only foods that I can have on the prep are:.
🔸Any meat/poultry/fish/seafood that is not cured or brined
🔸Plain, steamed white rice
🔸Clear meat broth (made only from the meat, no bone/cartilage or vegetables)
🔸Fats/oils (coconut/olive/vegetable oils, butter, or lard)
🔸Salt and Pepper (no other herbs/spices)
🔸Weak black coffee and/or weak black tea (plain, no sweeteners or cream, NO green or herbal teas)
🔸Plain water (no mineral water or water with additives)
I am planning to take my test Wednesday (given that it arrives to me on time), so 48 hours starts tomorrow and I am set and ready to get this underway and hopefully be on the road to more answers and recovery 🙏🏼. If anyone has gone through this test or is curious about SIBO or anything I have gone through so far with my gut health definitely do not be afraid to reach out and know you are not alone 💕.
DAY 8 WITH HARAMBEE WELLNESS // Lifestyle
The third pillar for which we are built upon is one we consider very important. It drives home our vision and mission: to Transform Health by Renewing and Increasing the Vitality of Every Body (or T.H.R.I.V.E. for short ☺). Today, we parcipated our monthly group outing (also known as the Harambee Tribe Activity), which ties in perfectly with our Day 8 topic. We visited Almar Orchards, Michigan's Premiere Organic Orchard. It was a exceptionally warm Autumn day with a scenic hay ride through the apple orchards...and of course there was apple cider🥃....and a donut 😋...and farm animals🐖🦌🐐🐓🐎. The purpose of our monthly activities is to hone in on the "Lifestyle" pillar by being social, connecting with one another, and engaging in activities that heighten one's knowledge of health and wellness (in a fun way 😎). That is how we T.H.R.I.V.E Together.
I love this 😍 So often we shy away from challenge, shy away from anything uncomfortable or anything that we perceive as not being the ideal. However, we NEED to experience adversity and challenge in our lives to grow. We need every cell in our body to be pushed and pressured to a point where we HAVE to adapt, we are forced to evolve into the person we have always meant to be! Who we deserve to be! Yes there is work involved but what's the price of living the life you've dreamed of? And what is the cost to continue with a life of mediocrity 🤔 // Some food for thought on your Monday 💕
One day you will wake up and it will feel like everything has changed. The stuff you used to hold onto, you let go. The thing you used to worry so much about, you will become free from that. The worry of never being good enough, you will realize that your perfect just they way you are. It took me until recently to really find what makes me happy, and I am forever grateful for that. Remember that what ever happens, it happens for a reason and theres nothing you can do but to learn from ever situation and use that to build yourself. Be who you want to be, be your own person, love yourself and you will have a wonderful life. 🙏🙌 #Life#Inspire
