Asto ma sadgamya.. 'from ignorance lead me to truth' on my last Thursday lunch date I wanted to share this mantra as I am taking in the view, the village, the people, the warmth, the poverty, the welcoming and joy despite all the pain and struggle the litter flying by the beautiful grand Himalayan mountains. What an eye opening beautiful experience that shouldn't be taken for granted 🙏🏻 #travel#rishikesh#india#experience#mountains#river#wanderlust#mantra
This photo was only the 3rd attempt thanks to some lovely mosquitos🙈🤔🐜
Living in the wilderness for 3 days really did open my eyes to how little people can actually survive off. There weren't toilets, food (that they sourced or grew themselves) was cooked on an open fire, safe drinking water was actually brought up the mountains for us so I'm not entirely sure where they get theirs🤔, no electricity meant that they had no phones or electronics and spent all day every day up to the age of 9/10 playing with each other and entertaining themselves (the village had a total of 40 people in it, so the number of children was very small). It made me apprieciate more the things we occassionally unintentionally take for granted like being able to run fresh drinking water straight from a tap on demand and having access to WiFi/internet almost everywhere. It really was one eye-opening👀experience that I couldn't recommend more to anyone🌍✈🏞
Во время похода по Кавказу у меня иногда появлялось ощущение, что это красота какой-то абсолютно не нашей планеты. А эти пейзажи я считаю лунными, ну просто потому что у меня так ассоциируется.
