Often we are gripping so tightly to our thoughts, emotions, feelings or are so hard on ourselves that there is a restricted flow of energy and the body/mind can become rigid and feel stuck... we get sick. We get depressed. But when we soften the way we hold ourselves, find more sweet yet honest language to use with ourselves, there is often a palpable release or rush of energy that floods , nourishes and helps release what felt stuck. "We do not do movement, we are movement" so simply choosing how we hold ourselves in this state of constant movement can greatly alter the flow. TRY THIS: Draw your attention right now to your physical posture or maybe to some thought or feeling you can't seem to let go of...now PAUSE ...choose your words...and give yourself one GOOD compliment...some good messaging.A few sincere heartfelt words that you deserve to hear. Take a few slow deep breaths and just witness what happens...it's like a huge hug for your energetic body. One phrase I use a lot is... "I'm working on it." Everyone can benefit from crystal healing singing bowls. Most of us have only a small amount of pure, clear, healing sound in our lives. Our ears no longer get a daily exposure to running streams, bird songs, and the rustling leaves in the forest. We are too often inside, with this beautiful natural music replaced by the hum of computers, the whoosh of the air conditioner, and the high-pitched whine of fluorescent lights. This is the opposite of healing sound! We grow accustomed to tuning out these noises, along with construction, traffic, crowds, and commercials, so that they don’t intrude into our space. Since we don’t have “earlids” to close, we shut the sound out with our minds, which can get to be an unhealthy habit that extends to tuning out beneficial sound, too.
The pure sonic waves that ring from the singing crystal bowls wake up our ability to listen and HEAR. Hearing occurs with more than our ears. Sound is vibration, and that vibration moves throughout our body. With the singing quartz crystal or Tibetan bowls, we FEEL the sound as much as we take it in with our ears. The singing bowls create a totally relaxed and meditative feeling – the ultimate in meditation music.

When we make a choice from over-thinking, it becomes so calculated, analysed. The feeling however is empirical knowledge, it's primal.... reconnect to what's happening deep under your skin. You have time to close your eyes for 5 mins.

I want to share a story with u guys.
A story about a girl who had NO freakin idea what to do with her life - she started law school at 17 y/o, not cuz she was passionate about the career - but because she hated numbers (made her feel not-so-smart) and because she was feisty. Loved advocating for others rights.
She graduated. Moved to the US. And got married with the love of her life.
Went all in with yoga teaching - only to realize she was DRAINED and freakin tired and not earning as much 💸 as she thought she would. She even lost her passion for her practice.
Eventually - got a full time - grown up - job and things started to get better. Less stress, more intentional personal yoga practice, more presence. 💫
But there was SOMETHING in her that couldnt settle with that full time job. This girl loved to serve and help others. She loved helping others feel amazing. 💕
She stumbled upon her now coach and she listened to that inner voice :) that voice that said: GO FOR IT! There’s NOTHING to lose - and SO much to gain.
So she did. 🕺🏼
And that girl is me :) almost 2 years ago when I started coaching. I felt CALLED to do this.
I was skeptical AF.
I was clueless about what to do or how.
I was NOT in my best shape or fitness level.
I was NOT super comfortable sharing online.
I was NOT ready!!! But I listened to that inner voice and I went for it, and I’ve been trusting that inner voice since then ✌🏽
I can’t even begin to tell how much has changed since I started coaching - but I can tell you this: if you hear that inner voice too - DO NOT WAIT until you are ready, or you have more time, or whatever it is that’s stopping you. 💕 this life is TOO short and we gotta take the opportunities when they come.

There's no such thing as a "bad movement," a "bad lift," or a "bad exercise." 🤔
If you think squats are bad for your knees, it's the way YOU'RE squatting that's bad for your knees. Or that your tissues just aren't properly prepared to squat yet (load>tissue capacity=injury). It's not that squatting is bad. It's that your not prepared to squat.
Every exercise has prerequisites. Do you have the prerequisites to squat? Don't hate on the exercise!
This applies to every movement, lift, and exercise. 💪

GET ACCOUNTABLE ➡️ Start tracking and be aware of what foods you are consuming and how nutrient dense those foods are.🍇🍈🥑🍄🥒🍌 My Suggestion, rather than focusing on a daily calorie intake, look at your week as a whole because lets be honest it's not your 🥗 "good days" 🍳 that are setting you back.
Its those🍕"cheat days"🍟 or little slipups we like to pretend didn't happen 🙈🙊 Remember at the end of the day you could be eating super healthy foods, but if your eating to much your still consuming more energy than what your body requires, and in turn your body will store that excess energy as fat, resulting in an overall body fat increase.
Reality is that we all have the urge for a treat occasionally, its important to work these "slipups" in to your nutrition plan, see nutrition isnt just about your macro or calorie intake, having a healthy mental relationship with food is also very important.
Imagine right now i said to you, you could never have your favourite food again....🤔😟😭.... Whats the first thing you think of and start craving? 🥞🍕🌭🍿🍟🍔🍦🍫

For too long we’ve been focused on the wrong things, or at least in the wrong order. We’ve focused on creating our happiness from the “outside in.” Happiness does not come by our education, salary, or title. Those belong in the “outside/external” part of our lives. When we focus on building from the outside in we put what matters most in second place, which is our hearts. ⠀
You see, starting from the inside out is how we were designed and created to live and go about life. We must learn to be connected to our hearts and build internal wealth and health there, first. The internal helps us understand how we are wired. It’s how we see the world. It’s how we value and love those in our lives for who they are. Most importantly it’s how we grow to love ourselves. It’s when we learn and know who we really and what we are called to to create in our lives.⠀
Starting from within, our hearts, helps us know how to build the world around us. Start from within — build from the inside out. ⠀
This comes from a years of experience of building this outside world of “things” yet feeling a sense of depression inside. Last year I switched my priority to live from the inside out and going into 2018 I feel rich, fully blessed, filled with gratitude. What the Flying F is a Pelvic Tilting?
Well you see if you’re interested in performing planks, bent over rows or anything involving your spine you best believe you need to be able to control your lumbar spine (lower back).
Okay I get it it isn’t sexy & it looks weird, but here is the thing. All athletes require efficient movement mechanics if they plan on having a long career, therefore core fundamentals should not be neglected. If you can’t perform either of the able exercises you probably compensate with a lot of rotational movements & possibly overload your lower back therefore it gets pretty damn tight/sore.
Ringing any bells yet? The exercise above is super easy to set up & is just an entry level movement competency you can do to get a better understanding & feeling of where your lumbar spine sits in space & teaches better lumbar spine control which is needed to find a “neutral” spine. This will flow into the upcoming planking progressions I will be uploading.
Supine Pelvic Tilting
1️⃣ Lie on your back with you hands on the pointy bit infront of your hips.
2️⃣ Keeping your back on the floor, arch & flatten your back as much as you comfortably can.
3️⃣ Repeat for 5-10 reps.
4️⃣ Find the middle between both & that is your neutral spine.
Quadruped Pelvic Tilting
1️⃣ Place hands under shoulders, knees under hips.
2️⃣ Arch & round your back.
3️⃣ Repeat 10-15 times.
4️⃣ Find that middle ground to obtain a neutral spine.
