As we walked deeper into the mine we all felt a cold chill pass through us and as I raised my camera to take the next shot, my camera battery was dead. Back to the car for more batteries... I inserted a new battery into my camera and raised it to take the next shot, and now, my battery for my light pack was also dead. But we weren't finished. Back to the car a second time for a different battery and we were back in business. Jesse was standing against the mine wall, we were shooting solo portraits when the halogen light on the wall of the mine exploded above him and caught on fire. We took it as our last warning and left.
