Playing hide-and-seek in plant sciences! Global warming threatens plants adapted to cooler temperatures and small local habitats that are significantly cooler than the surroundings can therefore be a perfect place to hide for these plants. Researchers from Stockholm University, Marseille and Helsinki have now found out where these plants prefer to hide, i.e. deep shady gorges, dense old forests or places close to water.
