If you're having a difficult time going through all the symptoms and other stressors in your life as well as your risk factors, get a second opinion. Ask your husband or your mom to tell you what they’ve noticed in your behavior. Sometimes it is helpful to have someone else look in and help you piece together all the symptoms you are experiencing that maybe you’re just not aware of.
What. A. Day. I had to wake this one up early to get her flu shot booster (took it like a champ and didn’t even cry!). I worked from home today in case she had a reaction to the shot(she didn’t) but I feel like I’ve just been playing catch up all day! Feeling a little frustrated, but seeing this little face makes it better ☺️

Welcome to my yoga studio 😁! Nope, you don’t need to spend money per class, take time to travel somewhere after a day at work and get sweaty with a bunch of strangers...😬 You can do it at home for a lot less money, time and awkwardness. 😉
Looking for a solution? I’ve got an answer so let’s chat.
Wyatt is 3 weeks and 4 days old today and I've decided to do a mental health update.
1) MOMMIN' AIN'T EASY. I'm not sure I can even elaborate on how much of a reality slap going from a quiet home of 2 pups and a cat to a newborn baby demanding love, food, and attention 24/7. For me, it's been quite the adjustment. I've never been super maternal, having never changed a diaper before WJC, and my instincts didn't kick in right away like everyone said. In all honesty, I'm just now starting to feel confident in my mom skills and somewhat adjusted to our new life. Trust yourself, trust your bodies!
2) BREASTFEEDING - OMG OUCH. Can I just scream this from the rooftops, WHY DID NO ONE WARN ME HOW BAD THIS WOULD HURT? The first 6 days of breastfeeding felt like I was re-piercing my nipples over and over again and I could barely stand it. I can see why some women give up on breastfeeding so early. To any new moms or moms to be, keep at it! I'll post some ways I got through it soon but don't give up, it's way worth it now!
3) LOVE YOUR TRIBE. Take the help, take all of it and then ask for more if it's not offered. If the sleep deprivation doesn't kick in at first, it will after a few weeks - trust me. Learn a night routine with your partner and make sure you're both on the same page about it. Trying to figure it out in the middle of the night with your hormones raging when you're totally exhausted is not fun. It will probably happen once or twice but if I've learned anything it's to over communicate during the day when you're somewhat of a functioning human being. You will be so much happier!
4) YOU'RE NOT CRAZY. Speaking of hormones, remember this one and take it with you everywhere you go lol. You will stop sobbing all the time after a couple weeks. I only ugly cry when I think of how big my baby has gotten now 😭😭😭 (seriously where does the time go?!).
That's all for now folks - taking each day as it comes and trying to savor all the chaos + beauty of the newborn stage ♥️
Here's a sweet little flashback from when Riley was 1 week old ❤️ I never thought I would miss that tiny little face and little hands and toes! That outfit was definitely my favorite to put on her cause it was the only outfit I didn't feel like I would break her since it all buttoned in the front. Oh how far we've come 😀 Today's blog is for those new mommies trying to figure out what to get baby on a budget. When I got pregnant we were living in a little room in a brownstone with a bunch of roommates so I definitely knew I needed to save not just money but space too! While we ended up moving home before having her, saving was still big for me so check out to see where I saved so you can too! Link in the bio!!!
With one of my 2 biggest markets of the season coming up, I will be closing the online store for a little while so I can focus on increasing my inventory. Make sure if there's something you want that you head into the shop to grab it ❤️
How I'm going to sleep tonight = I don't have no worries "Often newborns will smile in their sleep. Sometimes a smile in the early weeks of life is simply a sign that your little bundle is passing gas. But starting between 6 and 8 weeks of life, babies develop a "social smile" -- an intentional gesture of warmth meant just for you. This is an important milestone." 📸 @euphoria _lotus #smile#newbornphotography#webmd#newmom#babylove#goodnight#sleep
My first post partum workout is complete 😊
As you can see Brian was over laying down and was ready to be held-----leap 2 struggles! What was supposed to be a 45 minute stretch of Yoga turned into an hour thanks to a midworkout nurse session. We did a mix of yoga with Brian being held and laying down in front of me. Even with these hiccups I got it done.
I'm still getting the hang of being a mom of 2 and learning to balance it all. I've been extra stressed the past few days with him going through his second leap so being cleared to workout is coming at a perfect time. It creates an outlet for me to wind down and release some endorphins.
Just like other moms I tend to lose myself in my kids. All my love and energy goes to them. Thankfully I have my online fitness groups to motivate me. They aren't just for me to push others to reach their goals but to also keep myself moving forward towards mine.
Would being in an online fitness support group help you too?
I will be starting my next group October 30th and would LOVE to help others love themselves again. Join me in my ❤Fall In Love With Yourself❤ group by commenting below or PM me.

If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. This week's #mondaymantra invites you to stop and take a moment to reframe the way you view obstacles - see them as a challenge to approach things from a different perspective. Here's to a great week, everyone! #babybootcampeugene#momstrong
Good morning and happy Tuesday. I am off to a slow start this morning. I achieved so much yesterday and probably stayed up a little too late again so I am finding it hard to get motivated today.
But I must say I am super excited about the new muslin range from @cargyandcoco .😍 We all know I love mono. ❤ Repost 📷@cargyandcoco
Third cup of coffee for the day, first for the night, baby's asleep for a bit, and Mama's getting work done before it's time to start the bedtime drill for Baby Boom. First person to tell me, "Just sleep when the baby sleeps" is getting punched in the mouth. #momlife
There's nothing I would rather be doing on a daily basis than raising my children. I am honored to be their momma. I pour my heart and soul into mothering my children and pray to Jesus to take care of the rest🙏🏼 #mothering#stayathomemom#love
My 🌎! I was a PT long before I had children. In fact, working with special needs kids really made me appreciate the hard work of being a parent. So much so that I thought long and hard before having my own... Now I focus my practice on babies with tongue ties and moms with pelvic floor issues. Guess what? I had both!
Two kids with tongue ties, and not the easy kind to treat ... you know, the flat not lifting against gravity kind ! Breastfeeding was and still is NOT easy
Also an intense amount of pelvic pain with my first and pf issues galore .
I've been there, I've conquered it. I'm here to help you through it too!

@Regranned from @belinda_vegan - SHE WAS JUST A BABY WHO WANTED HER MOTHER!
Stolen from her mother shortly after birth. She will cry for her mother's milk, on a truck headed for auction or for a veal crate.
This is the story of one calf who was stolen from her mother. But this is not an isolated incident. It is reality, it is their sad lives.
Milk comes from grieving mothers. Mother cows produce milk for their babies, not for humans.
Cows are extremely gentle and affectionate animals, forming strong bonds with one another, particularly between mother and child. As Dr. Michael Klaper recalls"the very saddest sound in all my memory was burned into my awareness at age 5 on my uncle's dairy farm in Wisconsin. A cow had given birth to a beautiful male calf... On the second day after birth, my uncle took the calf from the mother and placed him in the veal pen in the barn - only 10 yards away, in plain view of his mother. The mother cow could see her infant, smell him, hear him, but could not touch him, comfort him, or nurse him. The heart rendering bellows that she poured forth- minute after minute hour after hour, for five long days - were excruciating to listen to. They are the most poignant and painful auditory memories I carry in my brain."
The mother of this calf, in this video, will never know what happened to her child.
