I officially have an Instagram account for my photography! I'll be regularly posting images here, as well as upcoming information, specials, and discounts exclusive to the Insta fans! And as always, im here to answer any questions you might have!
PS This account is intended to be a place to post the pretty photos I'm proud of, to act as a sort of portfolio and presence on instagram :) I'm not looking to grow my audience much, I just want to be here existing & reflecting. But with that being said, feel free to hang out or stop by anytime! I'm so happy to be here and I'm even happier that you are here with me xo
And the girls are 7-months. They seem on the verge of leaning how to move their little bodies and I can’t wait to see them crawling. Thanks goodness there are three older triplets, now 8-years-old, ready to help wrangle these adorable babies. I remember these months for my own children being a blur of sloppy meals, plenty of giggles and splashy bath times. These days go by too fast as their is nothing better than a baby her prime. Well maybe having three of them.
I've been thinking a lot lately, mainly because I've had lots of time to think. I've looked back on my life before, and just saw "growth" or whatever. The beginning and ending of phases. The beginning and ending of relationships. I never looked back and thought anything other than, "wow time really does change things." But I look back now and see all the times I could've ended up dead. All the times I could've ended up stranded or lost. All the times I could've ended up tied to someone who wasn't meant to be in my life. I see all these things, and then I see God's hands. Every phone call that didn't go through, every light that turned red, every uncomfortable feeling that led me to leave a party early, every breakup, every opportunity that fell through... everything. I see where He was in every moment of my life leading me home to Him. So all those dreams I had that didn't come true, all those moments of doubt, depression, and failure... I understand them now. Because I'm here. I'm alive. And He has given me new dreams and a new purpose. He has taken so much, but given back to me tenfold. I've never been without a home, I've never been without him. Looking back now, I see it. "I see where His light was."
We just realized something! We have NEVER done a #fridayintroductions here, so we needed to fix that ASAP! In the past we haven’t really posted much about ourselves on our Studio Lund insta, but that’s all about to change! We always want to get to know our couples so now we want everyone to get to know us more :) So! Back to Friday introductions, let us introduce ourselves and tell you a bit about us! ❤️ We are Julieanne & Daniel Lund, high school sweethearts (now married), puppy parents, NOLA natives and lovers, and wedding photography team capturing one gorgeous wedding at a time. 🐶 We rescued our pup-son Abita when we adopted him last year, since then he has shown us that he is basically a human (😂), make a great office assistant (okay, not so helpful sometimes but he is so cute), and frequents our insta stories quite often! 😍 Daniel and I really did meet in high school and we have been together ever since! Our first ‘official’ date was prom and the rest is history! 💃🏼 Our favorite TV show these days is Riverdale, and if you haven’t watched it yet you MUST jump on the bandwagon! It’s so good, the perfect mid-week treat for both of us! Just the right amount of romance for Julieanne and spook for Daniel, it’s a win-win for us! ▪️What things would you like to know about us??? Let us know below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 and we’ll be sure to answer them next week for #fridayintroductions :)
In two weeks I'll be in New Orleans and working from there for the next 6 months! I'm so excited for this next adventure!
If you are also in the New Orleans area and are interested in collaborating or grabbing some coffee, please DM me! I'm even more excited for the new faces to meet and friendships to be made.
Concert and portrait photographer from Dallas, TX, Jules Santos is a student at Loyola University majoring in Music Industry Studies and hopes to doubles as an artist’s music producer and tour photographer.
This past week I was in California visiting one of favorite friends, Emily. It was pretty great going on a trip and not working. I got to be slow and take in everything in a way that I can’t when I travel for work. A little part of me wishes I could’ve booked a really cool shoot during my time in LA but I think these pictures are some I’ll cherish more than work pictures.
Btw you should check out the before & after of this picture in my story 😍
